Hundreds of staffers who worked on Mike Bloomberg’s defunct presidential campaign were laid off Friday after he announced he was shutting down the operation. Bloomberg’s decision came after the former staffers, including some who were let go during an earlier round of terminations, said they were hoping the billionaire media mogul would have lived up to a promise to keep them on the payroll until November. Those expectations were lost when they were put on notice in conference calls Friday that Bloomberg was not going forward with pans for a super PAC.

The Democrats are full of promises, but they never keep their promises.
He probably lost a bunch of money when the market tanked. Not as many extra billions sitting in the bank as there used to be.

In his defense, he made that promise when he was running for office. Any lie that a Democrat tells is justified.
It must really suck to be a leftist. One word out of line and you’re attacked by your own people. Kinda makes me giggle.
Before his campaign cratered there were stories that its workers and consultants were bragging about collecting paychecks without actually working. That may have come back to haunt them.
And they all signed non-disclosure agreements, to boot!
