Stuck rationing toilet paper because you didn't stockpile during the coronavirus panic over the last few days? Don't worry, according to supply chain experts.
"All the grocery stores are going to have pallets of toilet paper sitting in the aisles and nobody is going to buy it because who needs to buy toilet paper when you got a year's worth sitting in your garage," Daniel Stanton, a supply chain expert and author of "Supply Chain Management for Dummies," tells CNBC Make It. But what about food? Even if the COVID-19 pandemic stretches over months (President Donald Trump said it could last until August), there will no big food shortages, especially on staples like milk, eggs, cheese, bread and meat, according to three supply chain experts who spoke to Make It.

How about
NO!!!!!!!!
I will only drink distilled water.
I make my own. No need for any assistance.
I noticed all the “organic” crap is on the shelves at Weis. I thought that was so popular. Americans can stand to lose some weight anyway.
Me too..
I only drink distilled water. I make my own too.
Pack the jar with peeled hard boiled eggs and beets. Pour in the stove heated liquid including the beet juice.
Keeps for a year in a cool place. They are excellent this way. Very purple.
And I forgot, 1/2 cup sugar dissolved in the liquid on the stove.
Works great in coffee though. Makes it so you don't have to descale the coffee machine nearly as often. Also, is advisable to use for irons and other such devices. Like anything else, it's inadvisable to overdo it. Too much of anything is bad IMO. One of the things I thought was interesting when I was looking into this yesterday is that they also sell minerals to put back into the water. Basically, the idea is to get rid of all the bad, and then put back in just the good.
I haven't decided to pull the trigger on this, though I did find a nice system in stainless and glass, that is actually made in the USA. Sure as hell ain't buying one from China. I think this is going to go on my list after a new coffee roaster. I burned my old one up and need to replace it. Freshly roasted coffee is freaking awesome.
Thanks for the recipe; I may give it a shot if I start accumulating surplus eggs again.

Our Walmarts, Costcos, Sams Club, Trader Joes, and all the chain grocers like Albertson’s, Winco, etc. have been empty for about 1 1/2 weeks. And I mean empty....from wall to wall. I was at Aldis’s the other day to get milk for my daughter’s kids and they had little to nothing in the store and signs everywhere stating Limit 1 ea on everything.
At some point it’s going to become MREs being delivered.
I put trace minerals back in our distilled water...and what do you think fluoride and chlorine do to your body?
Powdered milk?

Since Wuhan virus is respiratory affliction, not asspiratory, why toilet paper? Democrat logic!
Cannot wait for sales of soon to be sold boarded stocks, either at garage or store sales.
For some reason there has been a run on milk and eggs. Well it was St. Patricks day, and thats 2 of the ingredients. I could not find butter milk either. So a friend did not get an Irish Soda bread. Hope you had a great day, even with parades cancelled. Also hope the hoarding is solved.
The removal of chlorine/fluoride are the primary reason for distilling. There are other chemicals that remain in water even after standard processing that would be useful to get rid of as well. Even distillation doesn't remove some VOCs though, which is why most of these systems also have post-distillation charcoal filtering.
I use a charcoal filter too
To your post #356, Thank you. Great info. I really do like knowing stuff like that.
