When this crisis is over, and when retribution to Communist China is on the table from the countries of the world, we should remember Taipei has always been a Democracy and an ally of the US.
It's time the world recognized two China's, one is our friend, one just rips us off.

Pretty sure Taipei will more than be happy to be a true business partner to the USA.

It is my thesis, which is completely unsourced and evidence-free, that China's outbreak occurred because it was an unfinished bio-weapon leak, and that the bio-weapon (if it targets Asians more) was intended to weaken Taiwan in preparation for an invasion by China.

The things that make me believe this:

1) The claimed source was a 'wet market' within a stones throw of a Wuhan level 4 bio-weapon lab.

2) It seems to target Asians a little bit more than other races.

3) China was readier than most countries to lock things down.

4) China has repeatedly said that Taiwan will be under Chinese control by 2020.

Taiwan detected unusual flu outbreaks in Wuhan in December 2020, immediately launched early detection measures, then implemented many of the SARS/Avarian flu tactics learned from the earlier viral outbreaks from China. Taiwan, more than any other country, knows NOT to trust Communist China.

YES! We need to EMPHASIZE our relations with the Republic of China, the REAL Chinese government in exile, otherwise known as Taiwan. I would even go so far as to use Taiwan’s official name more and more.
