Bloomberg is LINK ONLY...
In my area, there seemed to be quiet preparation for weeks among the aware people. The real panic and store-raiding began after Trump’s prime time speech happened to take place at the same time that sports events were canceled and celebrities announced infection.
That’s the sort of thing that finally gets into the heads of the oblivious - and overnight, no toilet paper anywhere.
Really?
You are right about that.
I am not pleased with the way that Trump has handled everything related to this crisis, but he has had to face an incredible number of challenges during his first term.
He would have been completely creamed by the MSM if he had done this any earlier. The fact that France has now declared a national emergency bolsters Trumps position. So does the press conference that Boris Johnson had earlier this week.
I’ve been dreaming about Mother Abigail, from Hemingford Home, Nebraska.
Can’t help but to keep looking at maps on how to get to Nebraska.
Exactly so. In this way, I guess, it IS about politics; it frees up some funding and gets Congress out of the way. Besides, there are 30+ national emergencies that are on-going, going back to Carter and Iran, through to President Trump and Huwai. “National Emergency” just sounds oh-so-scary in this context.
The Stand, one of my favs.
Next thing you know, Pelosi will pass a bill preventing the President from taking Emergency Powers without her approval.

It’s all about money going t1o states and local governments. I just hope it is spent on things that are actually coronavirus related. The Democrats are the ones that have been pushing for it.
I do not understand why the NCAA basketball tournament had to be canceled...... So far this virus does not seem to be affecting young people, especially healthy young strong athletes...... You’ve got 64 teams....lets say you have 20 people per team players plus coaches and trainers..... That’s a total of 1280 people plus referees announcers the people who work at the scorer’s table and cameramen..... So maybe 1400 people total..... Why couldn’t those 1400 people I’ll be in one city in a state that has not had a Corona virus outbreak yet.... Find 4 good basketball courts at nearby colleges..... Don’t have fans attend the games and do the whole tournament over the course of 8 or 9 days..... And to hell with the women’s tournament, nobody gives a damn
Major cities are going to feel the pinch harder...smaller communities/ciies and rural areas less in part because they know how to wing it if they have to.
Also Big Gorcery chains will be out sooner than the no-name or smaller grocer’s since more people go to the larger ones to stock up.
I also think we’ll see more of the drive-by testing. There was a Pharmacy doing testing here...so there’s more testing being done than being reported.
That's because Truideau's a flaming liberal closet homosexual who's married to a woman for appearances only.
In short, he's one of them.
It would be extra nice if expedited DEPORTATIONS were an ingredient
Its on the way to Vegas, silly.
Trump was trying to put the virus in context. He wasn’t taking it lightly.
National emergency to be declared?
The libs will slam Trump for waiting too long.
But they will say nothing about King Obongo who waited until thousands had already died.
