Quick comment, President Trump’s speech was commanding and spot on.... However, my wife and I did not find it calming..... instead, we found it alarming that the nature of this virus is so severe we need to close travel from Europe....
Coupled with the shutdown of the NBA and other recent social changes definitely raise anxiety.....
We will make it through this crisis and utilize good hygiene practices.....
However, we own our own business that is retail food based and our revenue has taken a huge hit..... At this rate we can only hold out for 60 days.....we cannot telecommute....

What I don’t understand is why the average person ( and the stock market) seemed not to be concerned back in January.. We saw the countless videos of the devastation going on in China.
I knew a month ago that I wouldn’t be going to the st. Patrick’s day party, shower and wedding I was invited to in March and April. Were people just in denial or ignorant of the situation?
Althoug Ireland is in the EU, it’s not in Schengen, so visitors from other EU states still have to pass through passport control. The ban only applies to the open-border Schengen states (so includes the non-EU Norway and Switzerland).
Glad he is tweeting, so called journalists like Major Garrett are all over the news saying that his message was garbled, so I guess Major won't be voting for Biden.
So you have to go through passport controls to travel from, say, Italy to Ireland, even though they are both in the EU?

Here’s a source that says if you have an EU passport you have to show it, but it doesn’t get stamped, when traveling between Schengen and Ireland. If that is true, my scenario would still hold.
