Powerless Employees Look On as San Francisco Store Looted in Broad Daylight

The video taken at a San Francisco Walgreens is self-explanatory.

But what it actually means for the city by the bay is dark — San Francisco is falling apart.

In the video, three hooded individuals casually loot store shelves in full view of employees. No one stops them.

And although a woman says, “Call the police!” it is unclear if anyone did and more unclear whether it would have mattered — police most likely would have simply filled out a report rather than chase anyone down.

The shoplifters are of the double X persuasion.

My birthplace. I have no idea what it is like now. Mind you I never lived there but I did visit Hackensack Hospital and my dad’s law office quite frequently.

Hackensack Medical Center is one of the Nations finest and most highly thought of.

Used to live next town over (Teaneck) for about 20 yrs and then moved to next town over (New Milford) for another 27 yrs before leaving in 1995.

Hackensack is going thru a re gentrification and parts of it are very nice and like everything else in NJ very expensive.

After living there for over 45 yrs I guess I’ll always be a “Jersey kid” but I can’t say I miss NJ. I did have some really great times growing up there with the NJ Shore, Palisades Park and the famous Callahans Hot Dogs.

Can’t wait for businesses to decide it’s not worth doing business in SF and politicians go after them for leaving.

They took cosmetics. It does not take long for that to add up to over $950.00. A few lipsticks and foundations and you are almost there.

SF voters are getting every bit of what they deserve. I used to have to go to SF at least 1X a year on biz - but I haven’t had to the last couple yrs b/c the events are fleeing downtown. Even Silicon Valley tech companies are scheduling trade shows outside Calif. in cities that don’t legalize shi*ting on sidewalks.

I have several rakes on it.

It’s being done on purpose.

1. To purposely drive the population numbers in the city down. They want people who have stuff they want to keep, to leave. Right now, anyway.

2. Stuff will hit rock bottom at some point. The rich and pols are protected so they they will weather it out.

3. Property values will go down a lot as businesses and homeowners pull out.

4. Libs will cement power by buying up properties for a fraction, a billionaire like soros will back it, and they will ‘get tough’ for awhile and clean the place out one way or another.

5. then invite libtards with stuff back in, to live under their orwellian control.

Later in article: Shoplifting, grand theft, forgery, fraud and some drug possession charges were reclassified as misdemeanors so long as their value did not exceed $950.

I read that some shoplifters there were carrying calculators, adding up the amounts they stole, in order to keep it under $950. Weird, but I wouldn't doubt it.

crooks could use calculators for keeping it under $950....

Song School Days by Chuck Berry had the section

Up in the mornin’ and out to school
The teacher is teachin’ the Golden Rule
American history and practical math
You study ‘em hard and hopin’ to pass

///////
That practical math would fit the bill for keeping under $950.
