Joe Biden came into Tuesday’s primaries riding a wave of voter confidence about his chances of victory in November.
Democratic primary voters in Missouri and Mississippi are more likely to think the former vice president could defeat President Donald Trump in the general election, compared with Biden’s top rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, according to AP VoteCast surveys in the two states.
That perception of electability is part of what is drawing Democrats to rally around the more moderate Biden, who has emerged as the Democratic primary front-runner thanks to moderate and conservative voters moving quickly in his direction.
The presidential race has become increasingly uncertain in recent days as the outbreak of the coronavirus led to a plunge in the stock market and new jitters about the economy. …

Well, they’re hoping to kill off Beanie today or tomorrow, I think. That’s why they “scheduled in a delay” for the Michigan results? Beanie gets a deal to endorse Biden and gives him all his delegates. Then, in a little while,”Crazy Joe” decides to get out because he’s nuts, but he gives all his delegates to someone the DNC decides on? That person comes to the convention with a clear majority and they avoid a brokered convention? Could they theoretically do that? Of course, it’s all phony shit, but that’s their specialty, right? Dems who dissent would be “working for Russia”, you see. The DNC is a corporation and the board members can override the “shareholders”. If they can get all this planted soon enough, maybe they think they can mitigate embarrassing and unseemly fires in Milwaukee. Or have that violence spread among other cities over the intervening months for a much less focused spectacle?
