JOHNSON CITY, Texas - If you have meth in Blanco County, the police want you to give them a call.
In a Facebook post, the Johnson City Police Department said it has "reason to believe methamphetamine in Blanco County may be contaminated with the Coronavirus."
So, if you have it, the police are asking for you to come forward so it can get tested. Police said they'll even make a house visit if you would like, just call 830-868-7104.

Clever sting....if they offered a reward it would be even better!
If a person is desperate enough to consume meth why do you think some little stinking virus would scare them.
Hysterical! Bet there are some takers!
“My client had merely FOUND this meth... and was on his way to the police station to turn it in at the time of his arrest.”
But it won’t get me man, ‘cause I don’t drink Corona!

Smoke it.
Heat kills the virus.
The “meth community”!
It’s why I’ve become allergic to the word “community”.
Old Futility: “Don’t do that, it will kill you.”
New Futility: “Don’t do that, it will make you sick.”
Something tells me they may get a few takers...
Paranoia is a real thing with meth heads...
This is the second police department that I read about doing this in past 2 days now...
>>>My client had merely FOUND this meth... and was on his way to the police station to turn it in at the time of his arrest.
“Shut up, man, you’re gonna blow it for me!”
Amusing idea, tho.
Well, you are safe here, as “community” is not being modified by the word “meth”; it is merely the object of the verb “warn” in the sentence. Awkwardly worded headline, though.
:)
Offer free coloring books . . .
Legalize it.
Self cleaning oven.
“Police ‘warn’ community of meth ‘contaminated with the coronavirus’”
even better police scam than the calls to criminals with outstanding warrants that they won a big cash prize and all they have to do is show up at address X to claim it ...
