In veterinary medicine we would disallow many of our coronavirus tests because there were so many cross reactive variants that it was difficult to discern the pathogen from the non pathogenic virus. I wonder if the human side which is new to the coronavirus pathogen family isn’t experiencing the same phenomenon.

My call center office today is hitting the panic button to create contingencies if we have to evac the office and all work from home.
Italy and ROK are not commie countries and their death %age is similar to what China is reporting. Also Italy, especially the North is far more sanitary than China and has a first world healthcare system.

Even worse if what some are saying is true that the response second time around can be worse than the first. Typically with viruses that cause cold or flu, if you catch it a gain with a similar variant, your immune system remembers it and response better/faster.

Why would China lie about it being worse than it actually is. Their economy it literally dying. GDP down 25%. If anything they are underplaying the death rate.

We tin-foil hat types have been suspicious of it being a bioweapon right from the start. It wouldn’t be surprising if it was developed right here in the good, ole USA by our very own beloved DS. Then, either stolen, or even sold, to the Chinese knowing full well that they didn’t have the proper protocols to handle it safely.
Other than outright assassination, it is all they had left to bring down the POTUS...or so they thought. They’re willing to kill millions of innocent people and bring down the world’s economy to gain back power. NOTHING would be surprising anymore...NOTHING.
IF this is a bioweapon, whoever, or whatever developed it, needs to be hunted down like the diabolic animals they are, then tried, convicted and publicly hanged on worldwide TV for all to see. Better yet, inject em with it and leave em in a cage with 24/7 public TV coverage. Just shooting them is too good for em.
