Yes, in effect, it was, because it was about profiling people based on their race. And the mayor even said that they disproportionately stopped white people too often and minorities too little, and I'm not here to score points. I come at this with a great deal of humility, because we have had a lot of issues, especially when it comes to racial justice and policing in my own community. And I come to this with some humility because I'm conscious of the fact that there’s seven white people on this stage talking about racial justice.

I wonder when others will point out that all muslim countries are vastly majority muslim, all asian countries are vastly majority asian, and all african countries are vastly majority black people, all south/central american countries are majority non-whites, yet no one makes a stink about that.
Whites are the only ones who are guilt shamed. our countries are also the most welcoming to foreigners. The rest get to stay homogenous without any guilt or shame.
Our problems largely stem from people coming to white countries and not integrating into our cultures.

Just because you may not have experienced racial discrimination does not mean you are unable to think critically about racial issues. In fact taking the emotion out of things very often allows for more critical thinking! they wouldnt want that would they?

I think you’ve hit upon something there. If Warren had just said that she was a Cherokee Hispanic of Incan descent, it would have checked a lot of boxes. Who would have dared challenge that?
