Harvey Weinstein was rushed to hospital by ambulance on Monday, shortly after being found guilty of raping and sexual assaulting two women.
The disgraced Hollywood producer, 67, was said to have been redirected to Bellevue Hospital Center after suffering chest pains. A rep later confirmed he was suffering from high blood pressure and having heart palpitations.
Judge James Burke had initially ordered Weinstein to be taken to Rikers Island prison immediately, until his sentencing on March 11.
Weinstein was convicted by a New York jury of sexually assaulting former production assistant Mimi Haleyi in his apartment in 2006 and raping aspiring actress Jessica Mann in a hotel room in 2013.
He was acquitted of the two most serious counts of predatory sexual assault, which each carried a potential life sentence. He was also found not guilty of first degree rape in relation to Mann.
Weinstein, who arrived at court using a walker for much of the trial, now faces a 29-year prison sentence, sealing his dizzying fall from powerful Hollywood studio boss to archvillain of the #MeToo movement.
When the jury of seven men and five women handed down their verdict after five days of deliberations, Weinstein told his lawyer: 'I'm innocent. I'm innocent. How can this happen in America?'

The irony was that Redd Foxx had an actual heart attack while rehearsing for a tv show and I’ll bet most of those there wondered if he was just joking. He was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles and pronounced dead. It was the Big One.

For 67, Weinstein looks like shit, but he was born ugly.

They slept with him not because he’d help their careers so much as he would sink them if they didn’t.
One conservative talk host said he was huge like 300 lbs so his,atty made him lose weight. And the walker makes him look shorter smaller less imposing figure.

Doubt it bigly. Weinstein was doing what many...many...do. The great thing is that the utter vulgar hypocrisy of hollywood movie types has been exposed. They all know what goes on. He was a pubicized hero. I am betting that this type of behaviour will be seen with all the new media tycoons also. We’ll probably here it from the digital publishing houses. It is part of the condition of mankind.
I hope my daughter never goes alone to a guy’s hotel room in search of a part in a movie.

The casting couch was a staple in Hollywood from the beginning and those in the business knew and either agreed and went on to success or disagreed and were black balled. Im not saying this is at all right but those involved are all of a sudden saintly and the victim when they knew full well what they were getting into
