Bet on Mike Bloomberg to spend even more to recover from debate disaster
NY Post ^ | February 20 2020 | Bob McManus

It’s been said that once a man makes bishop in the church or general in the army he never again eats a bad meal — nor will he ever be contradicted to his face.

This probably goes for billionaires, too — because if there was one crystal-clear takeaway from Wednesday’s debate, it’s that nobody’s been giving Mike Bloomberg any guff for a very long time.

He got a face-full in Vegas; he was startled by it, he was irritated by it, he didn’t handle it well — and now the questions are: Can he recover a credible debate form? Did he ever have one?

It takes a lot of money to dig a bigger hole...

Is it possible to win the Presidency without ever facing the voters? Bloomberg can hide from the public and only run TV commercials day and night until the election.

There is an excellent ad running now with Obama talking over it like he is endorsing Bloomberg for 2020. Joe must be so jealous.

Bloomberg’s hatred of President Trump is a manifestation of the forces of the dark triad that have taken over him. He is the opposite side of the coin with Trump—the dark side. He will flush millions down the toilet driven by his Machiavellian nature.

I’ve seen those Bloomberg ads where he’s speaking at a podium somewhere. And behind him is a crowd of people holding ‘Bloomberg 2020’ signs.

Just who are these people? Do they work for Bloomberg? Are they hired actors? Passionate supporters? An investigative journalist should look into this.

The debate confirmed two things for me.

1. Mini-Mike lives in a bubble of yes support. People around him do not tell him anything they think will annoy him.

2. Mini-Mike is a dictatorial, self-righteous little prick.

I would go to a Bloomberg rally just for the free catered meal, adult beverages, and maybe even land myself a campaign staffer job, then secretary. In a month or two I could make senior advisor and that’s when the big bucks starts rolling in.

An investigative journalist...

What is that? I've heard of those. Isn't that an archaic term anymore.

Now days the term "journalist" means hyper partisan democrat propagandist.

The problem is, there is another debate next Tuesday, followed by Super Tuesday the following week. If he performs as poorly at the 25 Feb BET/Congressional Black Caucus debate as Nevada, Super Tuesday is going to be rough. Then a week after Super Tuesday is the Univision/Congressional Hispanic Caucus debate (notice all the pandering...). Buying an election is hard if you are a terrible candidate. People don’t like losers, and if Mike flounders on Super Tuesday and doesn’t get at least a strong 3rd place finish, he will fall in the national polls.

The other candidates have tasted blood, and if Bloomberg can’t swim with the sharks, he is going to be eaten.

One plus for Trump, he is getting a glimpse of how potential opponents will go after him, and how they debate when things get rough and tumble like they did Tuesday.

Just remember to say these three key sentences over and over. It’s what tinpot dictators want to hear.

Yes, Mr. Bloomberg.
You’re right, Mr. Bloomberg.
You’re the best, Mr. Bloomberg.

So what.

You gotta spend something to make something. (somebody once said)

It's turning out to be a real life version of Citizen Kane. I suggest the new title of Citizen Vain or Citizen Lame.

The insufferable harridan Warren is on Bloomberg’s “to do” list. What a smarmy repulsive creature.

Last week Michael Bloomberg was telling Trump that “we measure a man from the neck up”.

And my 1st thought was “Not if your trying to get on a ride at Disney Land”
