Neil Young is no fan of Donald Trump.
In an open letter published on his website on Tuesday, the aging rocker told the president directly: You are a disgrace to my country.
Young, who is originally from Canada, revealed last month that hes now a citizen of the United States and plans to use his new status to vote Democrat.
The 74-year-old singer used the letter to Trump to show his support for former President Barack Obama and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
Your mindless destruction of our shared natural resources, our environment and our relationships with friends around the world is unforgivable. Your policies, decisions and short term thinking continue to exacerbate the Climate Crisis. Our first black president was a better man than you are, he said in his letter to Trump.
He closed out the letter: US justice is ours not yours[.] One of your opponents has answers I like. He is aiming at preserving our childrens future directly. He is not popular with the democratic establishment because unlike all the other candidates, he is not pandering to the industries accelerating Earths Climate Disaster, the end of the world as we know it. he is truly fighting for the USA. His initials are BS (Bernie Sanders). Not his policies. We are going to vote you out and Make America Great Again.

Go have another beer, Nealy. Oh and you are so so over.
Dirt bag is a Canadian, go home stupid
The consistency of the sheer stupidity of artistic is astounding. With rare exceptions, they are all imbeciles alike. It has to be a function of brain hard-wiring, its just too consistent.
Anybody who is on the opposite side of Neil Young is obviously on the right side of history. We should’ve sent this Canuck along with Samantha Bee and Jim Carrey back home. Take your trash back, Canada.
Is he still alive? Who knew?
This guy’s an OK guitarist but he can’t carry a tune in a bucket. He was the worst thing that ever happened to Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
So how does this make his opinion important or relevant?
I have followed Neil's career closely and own or have given sincere listens to all of his releases. Any new music from him after 1980 is highly suspect. Here are the only post-1980 releases I would recommend (other than his relatively recent releases of archived pre-1980 material):
Broken Arrow
Chrome Dreams II
Freedom
Harvest Moon
Prairie Wind
Psychedelic Pill
Ragged Glory
[The United States has become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously after all, if an entertainer or athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be both ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth]
That’s the basis of the propaganda given out at Yahoo.
[But there seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking.]
Yes, that’s the actual effect on the Democrat libtards. Scary, actually.
Any man with a heart that big, cannot be condemned as a total loser, as some here have. Fine, he is a liberal Democrat, he has that right. But he does have real family values and that is important.
For the nonbeliever, here is a photo of @Neilyoung in my office and his $$ requesttotal hypocrite. pic.twitter.com/Xm4BJvetIa— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 24, 2015
And Sanders and Bloomberg arent?
Don’t let it bring you down.
It’s only @$$holes Berning.
I’m just a singer in a rock and roll band
I've seen him a couple of times. The last time was, I think, in 2012. $120 a ticket. The "highlight" of the show was 25 minutes of ear-splitting feedback. After it ended, there was a brief moment of silence and I booed him at the top of my lungs. He heard me and said, "some people just don't get it." Apparently, the eight friends I took with me didn't get it either because they said they would never pay to see him again. Nor will I. I guess it is a bit of a claim to fame that I booed Neil Young so loud that he heard me and responded. :-)
i call that the “Skynyrd Rule.”
Hey, Hey. My, My. Rock and Roll will never die. A fifth grader could have written such profound lyrics.
Crosby got a new liver. Is Neil on a list for a new brain?
That is the best a person can do when when under the influence of alcohol, weed, heroin, cocaine, and meth. it kind of dulls the brain cells just a wee bit. LOL
Revealing. If he wanted to make Trump feel small, shouldn't he have said something like "Our worst president was a better man than you are"? That he made such a substitution exposes his I'm-better-than-you mindset doubly.
