Justice Department picks US attorney to oversee all Ukraine investigations

A U.S. attorney has been designated to oversee all Ukraine-related investigations by federal prosecutors around the country.

The Justice Department revealed on Tuesday that Richard Donoghue, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, was assigned to the task by Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen.

Donoghue will “assist in coordinating … several open matters being handled by different U.S. Attorney’s Offices and Department components that in some way potentially relate to Ukraine," according to a letter sent to the House Judiciary Committee.

Donoghue, a St. John’s University School of Law graduate and Army Judge Advocate General Corps veteran, spent more than a decade as an assistant U.S. attorney and was working as the chief litigation counsel for a global tech company before becoming a U.S. attorney in 2018.

“The Deputy Attorney General implemented this policy to avoid duplication of efforts across Department offices and components, to facilitate information sharing, to ensure there are no conflicts among potentially overlapping matters, and to efficiently marshal the resources of the Department,” Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd told House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in the letter.

Boyd told the New York Democrat that “the Department typically does not provide information relating to ongoing matters,” but decided to weigh in “to clarify the record” following “news reports and public comments from Members of Congress that have significantly distorted the public’s understanding of the Department’s handling of such cases.”

Trump needs to push to get his people more than one layer deep: punishing people individually, after the fact, for stymying or slow walking the agenda, when the feudal barons intent on reducing us all to serfs or killing us, reward them more handsomely than their original jobs once they leave...is not working.

Mr. Donoghue received his B.A., cum laude, from Hofstra University and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Donoghue served on active duty in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he held positions including Military Magistrate Judge, Prosecutor, Defense Counsel and Contract Litigator. From 1993 through 1995, he served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.

From 2000 to 2011, Mr. Donoghue served as an AUSA in the Eastern District of New York, where he held positions including Chief of the Criminal Division and Chief of the Long Island Criminal Division. As an AUSA, he investigated and prosecuted a wide array of cases, including MS-13 racketeering cases and other violent crime, white collar crime, public integrity offenses and drug trafficking. While at the Office, Mr. Donoghue received the New York City Bar Association’s Henry L. Stimson Medal in 2007 (awarded annually to outstanding AUSAs), and the Eastern District Association’s 2009 Charles E. Rose Award (awarded annually to outstanding AUSAs).

The highly left-wing weaponized DOJ, appointing NY DOJ to investigate criminal activity committed by the same left-wing who gave them their jobs, and elevated them within the DOJ, is either 100% percent full on mockery of justice, and or to make sure justice against the criminal left-wing never happens.

Just will happen here just like when James Comey was involved with “investigations” and destruction of Clinton RICO evidence in AR, (evidence burned and witnesses Arkancided), in the early 1990’s, and Comey was heavily involved in writing the 1996-98 report which Congress used in exonerating Clinton criminal activity before Congress.

They will only investigate to hoodwink society,anipilate the narrative, and gather evidence to be destroyed, and to silence witnesses. It’s that simple.
