Well then I’ll be sure not to put you or anyone like you in charge of my health care, Murderin’ Mike.

Damn, what a psycho this little runt is.

No one who is in his 90s spends his own money on healthcare. It’s all billed to Uncle Sam, with no copay.

Will he start the denial of service with Ruth Bader Ginsberg?

So Mike, what happens when you turn up with cancer and you are 95?

Nothing!

Because either your wife or your grandson has already smothered you with a pillow ten years ago.

Recall in the past decade they pushed UP the age to start getting cancer screening.

There goes the Seasoned Citizen vote.

And believe me they vote. My neighbors are predominantly affluent elderly folks and in 2016 they came out in force, you never saw so many wheelchairs and walkers in one place. And the look in their eyes would scare off a wolf pack.

95 will quickly morph into 65. They’ve been taking our money for decades, promising a stipend and medical care for their taking of our money. We’ve long known that they take and use this money for things other than what it was intended. Why shouldn’t the politicians who robbed our pension funds (Social Security) not face the same criminal penalties that any private pension fund whom acted the way our politicians have? I mean they had a fiduciary duty to invest this money in things other than politician’s pet projects. Claw it back, every damn dime.

Likely won’t be a huge issue. If they get single payer passed, the wait times will be so long that, at 95, you will likely expire before the appointment date...

I’m a free market guy. If I’m 95 and I have cancer, and I have a flush bank account, I expect the doctors to do their best for me.

Think how evil the Democrats are. It’s in old age that people need help because they are weak and can’t work anymore.

But because the left is Hitlerian, they decide it’s “not worth it” to help our elders.

Goes hand in hand with destroying the family so people don’t care for their own parents and grandparents.

Torn about this one - Blooming Idiot is an idiot for saying it because it shows a willingness to limit care which inevitable cascades into other cases/age groups/demographics.

My ex Mother-in-Law had her gall bladder go out when she was 105 and they told her she had an astronomical chance of dying on the table if she allowed them to try to take it out...she opted to be made comfortable and was gone within a week...but it gave folks an opportunity to gather from around the country (I traveled 1500 miles) to say goodbye.

While Blooming Idiot’s rationale is wrong, he chose poorly for his example due to the fact (I’m assuming...) that the majority of folks in that window would opt for a comfortable passing.

Who’s “we”, you piece of $hit? What makes you think you have the right to make medical decisions for anyone?

The delicious irony of this is that Bloomberg is Jewish. I’ve said for years that Germany may have lost World War II, but the Nazis sure won.

Is 95 the official limit on healthcare now?

>>I actually agree with him to a degree.

Me too, there is absolutely no way as a society it makes sense to spend millions of dollars trying to make a 95 yr old make it to 96 year old - you can’t live forever no matter how much of the taxpayers money you spend.

Where do all of you criticizing this idea think all of this money is going to come from? Unlimited free healthcare is a democratic position, not a republican one.

And yes, if you have the money to spend yourself - or private insurance that is willing to pay for, by all means feel free.

Natural results of denying individuals from paying their own health care. First the elederly loose care, then the chronically ill, and so on. Eventually it ends when no one can get care.

There is no doubt whatsoever that a government-run health system would let old people die, and actively kill them, so as to have money to pay for aids care, abortion, sex-”change” operations, and euthanasia.

Some people pay more co-pay and higher premiums in order to avoid the “free” but poor-quality service without co-pay, i.e., Medicare Part B. Why should some socialist be allowed to keep anyone from doing this, or paying more out of his own pocket? That the personal-freedom issue.
