President Trump is set to rev up NASCARs Daytona 500 on Sunday with a lap around the famed oval track in the armored presidential limo, dubbed The Beast, a first for any U.S. president, Fox News has confirmed.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump will make their historic trip in the 22,000-pound vehicle around Floridas Daytona International Speedway ahead of the race, Fox News chief White House correspondent John Roberts reported.

>>I find it a little hypocritical That Trump when to the 500 when he says he supports 2A and know that NASCAR doesnt.<<
Look, this is how the left eats their own. Don’t fall into the same trap.
The GOP is the party of inclusion, not the identity politics party.
By the way, I’d wager that 80-90% of the attendees support the Second Amendment, and they still attended.
They are drying the track, but I'm afraid it won't do any good because my radar shows another much more extensive group of showers approaching from the west. This band is already passing De Land and should be at Daytona in about 25-30 minutes. Rain will probably last for about an hour then clear on radar, likely for the evening.
“Saw a photo that looked like the plane was right next to the bleachers, but I think that is achieved with a telephoto lens (making the distant object appear closer than it really is to near object). “
that still photo was originally labeled 2004 and i noticed that it had been posted to the internet long before i watched the 2020 air force one buzz over daytona in real time ... all of the lazy fake news sources just picked that photo up without checking where it came from ...
Postponed til tomorrow at 4 pm
All NASCAR races have a flyover before the race.
Remember that obama grounded the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds.
As well as the Space Shuttle program.
Im goin' to Disneyworld---gonna take a lap on the Speedway ride. Gonna hit 20 MPH."
News headline: “Trump’s Daytona appearance causes race cancellation...fans vow to never vote for him again”
Your point was the best, your probably correct. What bothers me is that all NASCAR has to do is rescind there statement. I think when they initially said it their attendance went down.
