Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg responded Sunday to comments from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh about him kissing his spouse, saying he won’t take advice from Mr. Limbaugh on family values.
The small-town mayor who shot to the top of the 2020 Democratic field joined CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, pushing back against the comments that drew criticism last week from both sides of the aisle.
“I love my husband. I’m faithful to my husband,” Mr. Buttigieg said. “I’m not going to take lectures on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh.”
On Wednesday, Mr. Limbaugh characterized on his radio show how Democratic voters might be thinking, suggesting they may not believe a gay man can be elected president.
“They’re saying, ‘OK, how’s this going to look?’” Mr. Limbaugh said. “Thirty-seven-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage, next to Mr. Man, Donald Trump.’”
“Despite all the great wokeness and despite all the great ground that’s been covered, that America’s still not ready to elect a gay guy kissing his husband on the debate stage president,” he added.
Mr. Limbaugh received the Medal of Freedom from the president earlier this month at the State of the Union.
The president was asked if he thought the country would select a gay man as president in an interview with Geraldo Rivera, according to the Associated Press.
“I think so,” the president said.
“I think there would be some that wouldn’t. I wouldn’t be among that group, to be honest with you.” Mr. Trump said.
Mr. Buttigieg finished first in the Iowa caucuses, neck and neck with Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vermont Independent, who took first in New Hampshire.

I’d generally agree with you, except that I don’t think the issue should ever be brought up in public WHICH IT WILL, just because media and opposing liberals will be dying to discuss it.
My bisect problem w homos is that any show of affection or discussion of this behavior is inappropriate for children, and sorry, but fully public means children are going to be aware. And that brings up the whole issue of sexuality in general, which they should not be aware of until they are at least pre-teens.
And then, they stole the rainbow.

Thing is, he’s a Democrat.
And to get the nomination you need very large majorities of Black and Hispanic voters.
And culturally they don’t NOT like homosexuals.
So, not only is Buttplug unelectable in the general, he cannot win the Democrat nomination.
You can take that to the bank.

The reality is that any deviancy or perversion from the norm will sooner or later be found acceptable if it is perceived to do no harm to another person or society at large.
Whether acceptance and even praise of homosexuality, transgenderism, radical Feminism and other perversions will have negative consequences on society will take a couple of generations to play out.
Technology has had a lot to do in making a lot of these deviancies go more mainstream.
In public, they can force people to pretend homosexuality is normal. But the vote is secret. Can’t force people there.
We already had one of those, Mike Obama . . . not sure about the beard though . . . Depends on where the beard is.

Buttigieg will have problems with some minority groups especially their male voters.
That picture is stupid for many reasons. but it really looks dumb because they are wearing semi-dress clothes and it looks totally staged.
