NY has just passed bail reform that allows people accused of felonies - including robbery and assault, right back on the street. NY also passed laws requiring names and phone numbers of witnesses to crimes released to the criminal defense attorney which has already resulted in the murder of a witness. NY has also passed laws requiring prosecutors to turn over all prosecution info to defense within 15 days, making it impossible to prosecute some defendants so the alleged criminals can just walk away. We live near the NY border - a very long state border with lawless NY. Is there something you can do to help protect people who live in PA? Crime doesn't usually stop at state borders.
Here's something you can do: Don't go to New York.
Problem solved.
NY State has always been an ongoing progressive-left nightmare, but Republicans controlled the State Senate so at least could delay or check the most insane impulses coming from the Left.
That ended in 2018. NY State is full-on one-party state now, and I think they only thing which will change it, like the former Soviet Union, is economic collapse and insolvency.
Build the Wall!
Yes Sirree! Keep them locked and loaded folks. New York city is about to become a powder keg. The subways and mass transit system will become war zones and anyone with an ounce of sense will flee leaving the city to the fate it has so deliberately built for itself. While it's sad, I can't bring myself to feel any pity for them.
PENNSYLVANIANS MUST STOP ELECTING LIBERALS AS THEY WILL USE YOUR TAX DOLLARS FOR LIBERAL POLICIES. LOOK WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN VA. THE VA’S MUST KEEP THEIR BRAINS WHERE THE SUN DON’T SHINE.
And these same clowns feel the name Eric C should never be spoken ever. SMH
maybe if you stopped typing in all capital letters you would be able to see more clearly and notice that the article is about new york laws affecting pennsylvania residents...
p
Remember when NY sued PA and a bunch of other states for supposedly polluting their air? PA should sue NY for letting NY criminals run rampant here.
