Steyer has been running a lot of TV ads and buying billboards. Cunningham won the 1st district opposing off shore drilling. There is a large environmental sympathy in SC particularly in the shore line and low country. Hilton Head is crazy about protecting the logger head turtles turtles.
Steyer is not much of a threat. The best he can do is take a chunk of votes from the primary leaders.

Another step toward a broke (or broker, or brokered) convention.

My image of Steyer will now be that moment after one of the debates when Warren walked up to Bernie and accused him of calling her a liar on national (but not watched by many viewers) TV. Steyer walks up and tries to shake Bernie’s hand, but is ignored like the irrelevant fool that he is.

Steyer comes off as incredibly phony in his commercials. Smarmy, false sincerity, typical Democrat make the rich pay BS.

See my prediction Jan 11, !!!!! Three Weeks to Iowa: The State of the Democrat Clown Show 1/11/2020 8:17:52 AM · 9 of 21 sodpoodle to EyesOfTX This is the guy who will come out of the LEFT field: From The Guardian Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer has narrowly qualified for next weeks key debate in Iowa after polls in the early voting states of Nevada and South Carolina showed a surprise surge in support. Steyer, a San Francisco-based billionaire investor whose candidacy has languished in polls near the bottom of a narrowing Democratic field, came in second place with 15% in South Carolina and tied with the Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren in third place at 12% in Nevada.

I wonder if Hillary has promised him the VP slot after she is named the winner in a brokered convention.

I’m changing my bet to Bloomberg-Steyer.
If the Democrats are going full plutocrat-globohomo, it’s the perfect pairing.
(Just to be clear, I favor the total and irrevocable destruction of the GOP as well as the Democrats).

Steyer denied those reports yesterday.

Hoping his ego is big enough to drive him to a 3rd party run after he doesn’t get the dem nomination. That would be sweet!

just wanted to say Hi Bernie!
To: DeplorablePaul
Biden has to be pissed about this, might cost him the SC victory that would keep his campaign on life support.
Bernie not hurt that much, he’s strong enough most everywhere.
The good news is, there is NO consolidation among Dem voters yet and 90% of the delegates will be assigned over the next 3 weeks.
We might finally see that always predicted brokered convention.

Wow. Maybe Steyer is the man to upend Bernie’s triumphal march to the nomination. Replace a principled madman with an unprincipled billionaire.
