Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said Sunday on MSNBC that the 2020 presidential hopefuls who are white had “blemishes on their record about their relationships with black people.”
When asked about 2020 hopeful Pete Buttigieg, Waters said, “You know, one’s record will speak for itself. If there are facts about what he has done or what he has not done, then he’s going to have to try and make people, you know, believe that he understands where he made mistakes and promises to do better and be able to articulate how he’s going to do even better than he’s done in the past.”

By the way, millions of white voters helped put Obama in the Presidency twice. The first black man to achieve that. Thus many whites vote by the better choice, not race (not that I agreed he was right on any policy the whole 8 years).
But a group of African Americans such as Maxine apparently must always vote by race. Blacks vote for blacks. Whites---even Dems---are blemished and no good. That is "racism."
I'm glad I know black people who do not buy into that Maxine BS. Otherwise it would be depressing.

Maxine Waters does not live in her district..
Maxine represents District 43 which includes the high crime/high gang area of South Central LA – a region of Los Angeles so bad even Maxine won’t live there.
Instead, she resides in the tony neighborhood of Hancock Park – not far from Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
Hancock Park is 70.7% white and only 3.8% black.
