Yet, no one wants to talk about the elephant in the room: Racism is a learned behavior. As Orin Hatch pointed out years ago in a debate with Jesse Jackson: Remove the murders committed by black males between the ages of 17 and 30 and the US has a lower murder rate than Switzerland. People know this and their behavior as a group, earned or not, affects everything from housing costs to health care for them. The gov't isn't going to fix this problem, blacks are. Personally, I think the place to start is changing welfare laws that make it financially better if fathers are not in the house. Repair the black family, let them parent their kids, and the solution will start to manifest itself.
