On Wednesdays broadcast of MSNBCs The Last Word, Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL) stated that voters in Alabama want someone who has sincerity and conscience and while a lot of people will not agree with his decision to vote to convict President Trump, a lot of people will agree with the vote he cast.
Jones began by saying that his electoral prospects werent part of his calculus on how to vote.

Jones was able to vote his "Conscience" because he knows he is a Dead Man Walking in November. He was obviously offered a Quid Pro Que to stay on the Democrat Plantation.
He is currently down by over 20 points to every single opponent not named Roy Moore. Heck, he trails 'random guy pumping gas at the Circle K' by 10-15 points.
He has no chance to be re-elected at all in November and is now securing his future employment.

Doug Jones: A Lot of People in AL Will Agree with My Vote to Convict And they are all sh*tty people who are parasites on society and who should not be allowed to vote.

Hes right. A lot of people in AL will agree with his vote, BUT the overwhelming majority will not. Hes gone in November, but he just doesnt know it yet. Pretty sure he knows it. That's why he voted the way he did. He hopes to get something from his party down the road.

Senator Shelby is a Judas who helped to gift this seat to Jonrs. He is as low as Mittens. That's what I think too.

It’s about Jones keeping his bonafides to get a gig in the next Rat administration whenever that happens.

Luther Strange was ensnarled in a serious corruption issue and would have been hammered by the New York and Washington DC press as corrupt.
In case you are unfamiliar with it, Luther Strange dropped charges against the governor in exchange for being appointed to that temporary Senate seat. People in Alabama knew about it, and that's why they picked Roy Moore over Luther Strange, despite Trump's backing of the guy occupying the seat.

You can fit a “lot” of people into a living room.
So what’s your point, Dougie?

I believe Senator Jones has misread his constituency. He will be voted out and afterwards he will scream, “racism!!”

He is right a lot will. His problem will be the majority of voting people will reject it.

I live in the greater Mobile area. Based on folks I talked to, Dougy should start packing his belongings as a move is in his future.

Depends on how bad Alabama has been infested by filthy liberal immigrants from democrat states.

If you mean 35% yes; but if you mean a majority you are lying. Yep. "A lot" is pretty ambiguous. A couple dozen could be "a lot." (Your 35% sounds like a good guess.)
