I’m a retired RN, so I’m not up on a lot of never treatment modes, but cancer treatment has developed some amazing advances in just the few years I’ve been retired, lung cancer among them. Cyber knife, which they were using before I was retired, is very effective, and gene therapy is out there, too. One thing I do know -— all cancer treatment places are not the same. For instance, there are only a very few PET scans available around the country, and they can detect much smaller cancers, in millimeters, rather than centimeters. Rush has more than enough money to go to the best lung cancer centers in the country. But the Great Physician is who He needs the most, and it sounds like he’s already under His care. Prayers for healing for Rush.

The treatments whether chemo or radiation are much more comfortable than in prior years.
Stage 4 is no longer a hopeless situation, many people recover. Rush does need your prayers daily. This is very important.
Remember, the ones you see are a subset. The ones that do well are not represented in your sample.
Ovarian cancer is the one I Have to watch out for. Did the genetic test with Myriad and don’t have the gene.
But you can bet I watch for the symptoms.
Just went through being checked last year with symptoms. I don’t hesitate to push them with ‘my family member died of it..let’s make sure’
Going to do the ultrasound every year. They are cheap to do.
So I say to anyone who has had a family member who died of ovarian cancer..that is the big red genetic flag. You can get checked for free under Obamacare under certain conditions. I think just having one relative with Ovarian was enough but can’t remember as I had two incidents.
I met a lady who beat stage 4 lung cancer...the whole time she was telling me about it..she was smoking.
Anyhow, it’s not always a death sentence.
I’m pretty sure we are his family. Nearly everyday of his life he has spent with us. Probably more time talking with us than with others.
Prayers for you, Rush. Mega prayers as often as possible.

Rush is my Teddy Bear. Such a decent human being. I know he can feel the good thoughts, prayers and well wishes coming his way. Thinking of him and Catherine.

I got cancer when I was 16. It was about 2 months before my 17th birthday when I was diagnosed. About a month after my 17th birthday, my grandfather was diagnosed with Oak Leaf Lung Cancer. He died before I was done with chemo before I had my 18th birthday.
I wish Rush well, but it could be very difficult.
With millions of us conservatives praying for RUSH...I expect a miracle!! Thank YOU LORD!!!
I count myself fortunate to have invited Rush Limbaugh into my home and mostly car as often as possible for the last 31 years. My first time listening was the first day he hit national syndication.
One day back then, maybe five years in, a co-worker from out of town was in my office. I had Rush on the radio and he told me that his best friend was Rush’s producer.
“Yea right.” I told him to get me a personally autographed photograph. He got on the phone, during the show and talked to his buddy. Sure enough, a week or so later, guess what came in the mail. Still got it somewhere.
I remember Dan’s Bake Sale, All of Clinton’s escapades, The Gulf War, the Iraq War, The unnamed previous President, Operation Chaos and Mick from the High Mountain’s of New Mexico.
