Michael Flynn now says he 'never lied' to federal investigators

Former White House national security advisor Michael Flynn denied ever having lied to the FBI in a new legal filing submitted as part of his attempt to withdraw an earlier guilty plea to making false statements.

“In truth, I never lied,” Flynn said in the Wednesday filing, CNBC reported.

In their own filing, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia said that in the event that Judge Emmet Sullivan, an Obama appointee, rejects Flynn’s plea withdrawal, the federal government has no objection to Flynn being sentenced to probation without prison time.

Flynn claimed in the filing that he “never would have pled guilty” if his initial defense team had told him federal agents said he “did not give any indication of deception” when questioned about conversations he had with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

“I tried to ‘accept responsibility’ by admitting to offenses I understood the government I love and trusted said I committed,” Flynn said.

“I am innocent of this crime, and I request to withdraw my guilty plea,” he added.

note that the corrupt judge has done NOTHING
to the attorneys who serially lied to him,
who altered documents, to set up an innocent person.

corrupt judge = deep state willing plant

Flynn claimed in the filing that he “never would have pled guilty” if his initial defense team had told him federal agents said he “did not give any indication of deception”

It's already been established that his first legal representation had a clear conflict of interest and were self-dealing so this is a credible claim.

Pence was stampeded into calling him a liar on TV. Obama holdover Yates went to him with the illegal FBI spying data and said he talked to the Russian ambassador about sanctions.
Pence zoomed onto TV and said Flynn lied. This made Trump have to choose on public between his veep and his Nat security advisor. Flynn naturally lost.

Pence said he lied about discussing sanctions. Flynn told the ambassador he could not discuss sanctions and that this would be a topic for another date. So in GOPe and Pence world, saying you can’t discuss sanctions, is in itself, discussing sanctions.

Ridiculous.

Flynn must have lived a very sheltered existence to believe that. A bit too sheltered to hold the position he was holding in the new Administration. Hopefully, he now realizes the folly of thinking like that.

This seems like old news.Since then, he has filed for community service. The Judge has asked that Flynn be questioned under oath. I like this idea. Because if the Government actually has proof that Flynn lied, and then Flynn testifies that he didn’t lie, Flynn will be in a worse position.

Has Sidney Powell responded to the Judge’s request for Flynn’s testimony yet?

I have to keep reminding people, because for some reason it is never reported, that Flynn has been under a gag order for over two years now, and will not be allowed to publicly defend himself until this case is adjudicated.

Bastards all. Up the spout!

“I tried to ‘accept responsibility’ by admitting to offenses I understood the government I love and trusted...

There can be no profit in loving a 'government'. A government is made up of people.

A man may, however, love his country and what it stands for.

Other than that, Michael Flynn is an American hero and patriot.

He was being crushed by the legal defense costs of the lawfare being waged against him, and they were threatening his son with prosecution. And the judge is arguably a deep state plant. He was in a really, really bad position.

“Never should have pled in first place no matter what the filthy FBI threatened.”

They ruined him financially. Then threatened to start the attack on his son. Most true men would fall on a sword to protect their child. And after Pence attacked him in public, he knew he was on his own and that F-Troop had solid wedges into the White House.
Within weeks, Sessions recused himself. Comey set up Trump. Yates launched her rebellion. Deep state McMaster was now running the NSC. Comey the dope banker was fired, and the Mueller investigation was started.

Flynn probably meant love of country not government. But it was the government that did this to him.

That’s big news right there. It’s as if the government is giving up.

NEVER trust the gubmint.

You will have a hard time convincing military officers of that. Especially General officers.

Even when presented with proof positive that the great shining lady they served is actually a drunk whore they backslide because they really did serve with their heart and soul.

This judge is famous for telling the FBI and DOJ off after a case where they lied and withheld evidence, Sen. Stevens of Alaska.

So, I think it's premature to call him corrupt. He hasn't ruled yet, we might like his ruling.

Stevens was exonerated by a higher court. Telling someone off is not in this context meaningful.

This is the same prosecution that changed its sentencing recommendation a couple of weeks ago from light sentence to the max. Now they’re suddenly saying “you know, on third thought, no jail time would be just fine with us”.

I think Sidney has a fist full of short and curlys.
