I’m not quite sure I follow this analogy. Does this mean that a woman who chooses life is a “good” slave owner? Even the kindest slave owner was still a slave owner, still deprived their slaves of their rights to be autonomous beings, still had power of life or death over their slaves, just as a pro-life woman still has the power of life or death over her fetus. Seems like the only way for a woman to avoid being judged in this way is to avoid pregnancy entirely, either by going on the Pill for life or joining a convent. I’m pretty sure that’s not what the author wanted to say but that is the impression I’m getting.
