Jim Lehrer wrote an very underestimated book that was made into a underestimated movie.

I remember “Crown Oklahoma” as being a good novel.
My problem with Lehrer was that he was obviously involved in sacking MacNeiil — who was asking too many hard questions about the whole Bosnian war fiasco.
