In a sit-down interview with Maria Bartiromo which aired Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” President Donald Trump said Virginia is “in play” for him to win in 2020.
Trump pointed to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) push to take away guns, arguing Northam wants to do away with the Second Amendment.
“I think Virginia is crazy where they want to take away guns,” Trump outlined. “You have a governor that’s — I just can’t believe it — but Virginia is very much in play. I think we are going to win state of Virginia. They want to take everyone’s gun away in Virginia. You can’t do it. You can’t do it. People need that for safety. They need it for hunting and … but many people need it for safety, they need it for safety.”
He continued, “They’re playing with our Second Amendment. Frankly, they’d get rid of it. I watched him in the interview. He would get rid of the Second Amendment if it was up to him. And you have many Democrats saying the same thing. They’re saying it quietly, but if they win these elections, they’re going to try to get rid of the Second Amendment. It will never happen as long as I’m here.”

You want to rid yourself of this governor bad enough it can be done with a lot of people getting signatures they could probably do it in 30 days!!!
I think most people don’t really care that much about the black face thing except that it illustrates them as hypocrites.
the clock starts when the first petition is filed in the first county. In other words, each county and independent town and city must have a separate petition and they must be filed simultaneously.
Well Virginia has the ability to change their house the governor is a lame duck without the same party in the house!!! Virginians NEED to get off their butts and VOTE!!! Voters just never seem to realize this crap sandwich can happen until IT DOES!!!

If they did they would be preparing ad after ad screaming about what the governor and his toadies in legislature want to do.
Oh, and by the way, how about recruiting SOME REPUBLICANS TO RUN AGAINST THE DIMS LIKE PRIMARIES, AND HAVE SOME REPUBLICAN OPPONENTS WHERE THERE ARE ONLY DIMS RUNNING.

Exactly. This is what the establishment doesn’t get... Trump won by engaging those that had disengaged or never engaged and he’s going to get a lot lot more of them in 2020.
The volume of former democrat voters who have wuietly walked away from the party, quietly as the party has gone more and more insane is significant.
The largely disengaged.. thr GOP gave them no reason to vote for them either.
Trump has and he’s going to handily win re election this fall.
I did see one petition booth. But understand this, for 4 blocks in every direction around the Capitol Building, people were standing very tightly shoulder to shoulder. It took my group 20 minutes to go the 45 feet from the entrance of the Commonwealth Hotel to the nearest corner (Broad St.?) through the crowd. i doubt if there was anyone roaming through the crowd with the petition.

Somehow, I don’t think President Trump will be satisfied with that.
If he focuses on VA, it may change its tune.
Having failed in their attempt during the 1860's to lawfully keep some of their states residents as slaves, they now want laws that would do so for all of them.
When the 2nd is taken away, all the others become irrelevant.
