Over the last one hundred years, the British Royal Family has generously provided the world with a parade of scandals more colorful and louder than the socks they wear with their kilts. But the Meghan and Harry rupture is fundamentally different from any previous crisis to befall the British monarchy. Prior to now, royal scandals have been cut from the same petticoats as any other public ignominies — i.e., the chin-wagging that follows uncovering some form of immoral conduct. All the throngs of poorly hidden mistresses, caddish boyfriends, toe-sucking on yachts, assignations in the deer park while the horses wait patiently, even consorting with extremes of evildoing, such as found in the company of the late J. Epstein, arose from ordinary human weakness set against an extraordinary backdrop. They have constituted straightforward disgraces that can unfold only among people with a shared religious heritage and moral code.
Those days are gone.
The roadside bomb in the royal family named Meghan Markle exploded not because of immoral conduct in the conventional sense. Markle is the first duchess who hails from the American left-wing, post-Christian, anti-moral belief system that worships the journey of self-directed personal actualization. Her justification after only a few months of marriage for urging hubby away from his family? "It is not enough to survive, you have to thrive." Apparently, Harry's fulfilling his role as prince prevents her thriving. For Meghan, thriving entails doing what you want, no matter if it hurts others or depreciates the generosity that has been heaped upon you.
Meghan Markle's psychology is affected by well managed narcissistic rage. Narcissists seek power in relationships as a substitute for the terrifying experience of offering self-sacrificing love. Markle has two sources of power over the royal family and the millions of people who love them.

A President whose rallying cries are "In God We Trust!" and "Make America Great!"
A President who has expressed life-long respect, admiration, and affection for the British Royal Family!
A President who returned, to the Oval Office of the White House, the bust of Winston Churchill, which his predecessor had had removed, and placed it near the bust of Martin Luther King, for whom he has also expressed respect, admiration, and affection!
A President who, during his official visit to Buckingham Palace, graciously did not refuse to meet with either Markle or Harry...
These anecdotes say it all.
However, the BIGGEST LOSER in this whole escapade is Canada.
The people of Vancouver, BC will be seeing these people everywhere. Who pays for their protection now that they are no longer members of the royal family?
Maybe they will get kidnapped by some crazy extremists pissed off at Great Britain for some centuries old offense. We can only hope.

That's what happened to our Christian foundation. It was displaced by humanism. And like every other civilization that embraced it, it's failing, and destroying, the USA.

Observing the Queen’s family should make us appreciate Trump’s. He has a loyal wife. Trump Jr. is a class act. Even Baron puts Harry and Andrew to shame.
I do believe that Harry and Megan represent the same dynamic. Harry wanted out and Megan was the vessel that allowed him to leave. And as the article points out, Megan, like Yoko, gives him the ability to brand anyone who objects a racist.
That said, I do think it's perfectly rational that someone does not want to go into the "family business." Everyone should be able to determine the kind of life they want to lead. Why should the course of one's life be determined due to an accident of birth? As long as he doesn't take any public funds, he should be free to do what we wants.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Andy's banishment ends the same week the Harry/Meghan drama is happening, and Uncle Andy gets to hang out with Mum again....and Epstein didn't kill himself.

I think it's already happening. Saw a clip of Harry trying to sell some producer on his wife's ability to do voice-overs. The producer didn't seem especially interested and looked like he wanted to get away from good ol' Harry.

It took 50 posts but I think you hit the nail on the head. I couldn’t help but think the same thing while watching the wedding and yes, I did watch. It was cold and chilly to me.
Then and even now from the pictures, Harry looked like he was being led to slaughter - and he no doubt was!
You can bet your bippy now that she has left the royal family, she no longer has any meaning to Oprah or the obozos. Black and royal - it couldn’t get any better. Take out the “royal” and left only with “black” - not so swell.
A lot of hullabaloo here. I wonder what the odds makers in LV are giving it? I say 5 yrs, maybe less. Markle is using Harry as a stepping stone.
