Iranian protesters demonstrating against their country’s government were seen avoiding giant Israeli and American flags on the ground during their demonstration, so as to not trample them. Video from student protests in Tehran shows thousands of demonstrators carefully walking around the two giant flags, which had been put on the ground to encourage passersby to trample them in a sign of contempt. Nearly all of the students at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, however, can be seen walking around the flags during protests sparked by Iran’s admission that its military shot down a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing 176 civilians shortly after takeoff in what the regime called a ‘terrible mistake’. In contrast, protesters in Tehran were seen tearing down posters honoring slain Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, who headed the Revolutionary Guards Corps' Quds Force. Thousands of protesters gathered Sunday across Iran to call for the removal of Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after Iran’s admission, hours after similar protests were held on Saturday. The protests over Iran’s downing of the airliner are just the latest in a series of anti-government demonstrations, which began last November, initially to protest fuel price hikes.

I spent time in Iran while the Shah was still there. You can’t find a better person than the Irani citizen.
I knew some who were sent back after the revolution. When he finally was able to get his family out, he was back in a year or so.
When I asked him the “normal” people did not fight back, he said “They have all of the guns.”
Too bad Israel can’t take out those centrifuges in the unholy city of Qom. That would make the Mullahs look like even bigger dorks and cause the army to revolt against them.
The alt right are Iran firsters now, too. Richard Spencer’s twitter account features the Iranian flag now. Then again, the so-called alt right is really just another left wing movement. Those guys put the Socialism into their National Socialism.
The corrupt media is Comcast, Disney, and ATT.

There was a time when Iran was up & coming; a modern country. Their society was much like our own. I remember. I had Iranian friends who walked, talked & dressed just like me.
Then came the Ayatollah and they became 3rd world. Instead of evolving, they devolved and shut down free thought and modernization.
It’s hard, but we have to remember that there are decent, civilized voices out there who cannot speak up. We’re very close to this in the USA now, where we can’t speak up out of fear, but Trump’s presidency has helped us regain our Voices.
