What does that tell you about the myth of academic institutional superiority? It should tell you a ton. There are no ‘elite’ universities. There are smart people everywhere, and there are self-convinced but dead-wrong people everywhere. To some extent, the more ‘superiority’ one assumes about themselves and their pedigree, the more likely they are to fall into the second category.
