Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., expressed outrage Friday after a report said the Trump administration was considering an expansion of the nation's travel ban to cover more countries.

“What do 5 out of 7 of these countries have in common? They are Muslim-majority countries the President already tried to ban,” Omar tweeted.
It wasn't clear whether she was referring to the currently banned countries or a potential list.
“We need to pass the #NoBanAct immediately to stop this madness," she added.
Tlaib called the ban “Straight up racism!”
“No more waiting,” she tweeted. “Too many Muslims have been intentionally targeted, discriminated against, separated from their families and denied opportunities solely based on their faith.”
The administration’s travel ban, which has been through several rounds of litigation and iterations, currently includes seven countries (with certain exceptions) not allowed to fly to the United States: Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela and North Korea.

You would think they would realize by now how ridiculous and as you say, meaningless - it is to always label what they don’t like. How about:
They understand exactly what they are doing, They are manipulitve, and bullying. they are following Alinsky’s rules.
There is going to come a day before I die that I will stop expecting people to cultivate some common sense. I have to say that this is the closest I’ve ever come to that happening in my 80+ years! That along with the eye opening of just how much and how often we have been lied to by our government and what we counted as “news”.
I can’t help but feel that we’ve been lied to all our lives after the behavior and shenanigans we’ve seen since Donald Trump became president. There’s a whole ‘nother world out there, isn’t there? Right in our own country!
I caught some of “The Patriot” on TV the other night and tho’ I’ve seen it numerous times I had a different reaction to it. The other times I’ve viewed it as our history and entertainment but this time it came to me as “don’t people realize what the people at the time went through to build this country?”
I think the “half” who go along with the loons don’t! We’re told “half” anyway disapprove of everything the president has done, will do, is thinking of doing!! Again - lies!
You're right tick - if Norwegians had killed Americans in the same numbers as Middle Easterners, we'd be expanding the the travel ban to countries with large numbers of people from Norway.
The only reason these liberal nitwits don't understand it because they don't want to understand.
It is a national disgrace that we have voters stupid and wilful enough the elect assholes like this .
In the case of Talib and Omar , they are coming from communities of non-American immigrants , realizing they can elect their own, and they do. It’s a type of open and ‘legal’ subversion.
It is for this reason that I advocate NOT allowing any new immigrant to be eligible to vote , or hold elected office ,regardless of whatever citizen status they hold. Such rights should only occur in the second generation of U S. born offspring to legally entered and new U.S. citizen parents. You have to earn what you own and immigrants have to earn these rights . The right and the ability to vote should NOT be thrown like pearls to swine , to anyone that manages to weasel in. And once here they need to EARN IT! Change the Constituion to reflect this . Guard our nation from disloyal foreign influence.
Ok by me on two counts...addressing possible escalation in terr ism since Iran sending out pamphlets for volunteers at the moment and it pisses that bitch off! Sorry about the language but I have had enough of her ‘shiite’ to continue to be polite!
I think an exception for Somalia could be mnade which would be one way flights over the country and have Omar and any of her squad that wish to go all have parachutes.
Then they can float down to her beloved Sharia law home.
Where Omar will be arrested for her crimes against Sharia law,the penalty for which is stoning to death.
Prosecute this felon. Now !
