AIN ASSAD AIR BASE, Iraq — Iran struck back Tuesday for the killing of a top Iranian general last week, firing a series of ballistic missiles at two Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops in a major escalation.
Iranian state TV reported the strikes were in retaliation for the killing of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani, whose death Friday prompted angry calls to avenge his slaying.
A U.S. official said there were no immediate reports of American casualties.

Just heard Fox state Ali Khamenei has cancer and is dying. I wonder if taking Soleimani out was a move to influence the future leadership of Iran. Soleimani was a main hardliner.
Interesting the President mentioned the Euros. It was announced that the Ukrainian commercial air liner that Iran shot down contained 11 Canadians.
