Iranian state television said on Wednesday that at least 80 "American terrorists" were killed in attacks involving 15 missiles Tehran launched on U.S. targets in Iraq, adding that none of the missiles were intercepted. State TV, citing a senior Revolutionary Guards source, also said Iran had 100 other targets in the region in its sights if Washington took any retaliatory measures. It also said U.S. helicopters and military equipment were "severely damaged".

Pakistan will destroy Israel in 12 minutes, warns Pak military official - Khabar Gaam
A high degree of suspicion and mistrust exist between Israel and Pakistan. In particular, Pakistan seems to presume the worst about Israel. At the end of December 2016, a fake-news story triggered a nuclear Twitter confrontation between Israel and Pakistan. A website called AWD News claimed that Israels defense minister had threatened to destroy Pakistan with a nuclear attack if it sent ground troops to Syria on any pretext. Although clearly fake (the website misidentified the Israeli defense minister as Moshe Yaalon, who resigned in the previous May), Pakistans defense minister hastily tweeted a nuclear threat and warned Israel that Pakistan is a nuclear state too.
The growing security relationship between Israel and India, serves to enhance conspiracy theories about the existence of an Indo-Israeli alliance against Pakistan. Thus, unsurprisingly the recent visit by Israels prime minister to India in January 2018 produced a bellicose Pakistani response. The foreign minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, stated that Pakistan could defend itself despite this nexus between India and Israel that is based on their enmity with Islam. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu wisely reacted by stating that We (Israel) are not enemies of Pakistan and Pakistan should not be our enemy either.
==============
During the 2008 Mumbai attacks by Pakistani jihadis, they specifically went to kill a Jewish couple in a Chabad house (a house for people to stay, pray and celebrate Sabbath) - no military target, just a symbolic one
Pakistan has the highest number of Israel haters among the populace
The reason for this is that Pakistan was create as the religious state for Muslims. and they need to define themselves by that - and hatred of the Jews is a key component to that definition
Al Q and Al Fatah are Saudi created Wahabbi groups.
The Muslims Brotherhood are Wahabbi-ish, but not Saudi.
Hizb’allah are Shia and Irani sponsored, correct - and when have you seen them carry out any jihadi attack outside the middle east?
you listed the things Hussein did to his people - that’s not much worse than any other Arab ruler - and nothings happened to them.
The Gulf War one did cause Al Q to focus on attacking the USA because “infidel troops were based on the holy soil of Arabia”
I got updates from Iranian exiles here and from one anti-regime contact in Tehran — take this with a pinch of salt as it is from severely anti-Ayatollah sources.
But they say that the mood on the streets has completely changed.
Until a week ago it was “they killed a SOB, but it was our SOB.”
Now Solemani is ‘forgotten’ — the mood is “the regime is constantly lying to us, we won’t forget. USA is not the great satan, but you are”.
The mood is very much anti-government now. According to the sources, even the militias are anti-government
I don’t see the government falling in a coup this year, but it may go out with a whimper in that time or in a year or two. The time is close and Trump seems to have won this
Please name the other rulers in the region who attacked another nation, and wound up costing 250,000 of his own citizens their lives, plus 250,000 of that nations citizen’s lives.
Further, remind me all the other nations that used chemical weapons against their citizens who were not mounting an armed assault on the government at the time.
Al Saud for one. And now MBS with his war in Yemen.
Again, I’m not saying Saddam was anything but an evil tyrant - but my point is that he was the lesser evil for the region and the USA would have been better placed if it never got involved in Gulf war one
Quit wasting my time with your ignorant responses.
Just because you don’t agree with facts doesn’t negate them or make them ignorant. Ranting like that is the Dummycrat way
No other leaders you can name from the Middle East have cost over 500,000 lives.
You trying to offer up some is pure nonsense.
Peddle youre crap somewhere else.
Cronos, it’s not my place to tell you to peddle your crap elsewhere.
You touched on the issue of me not liking things, but they were facts. I wasn’t sold on that premise.
I asked you who else was responsible for the deaths of over 500,000 people in the Middle East other than Hussein, and you mentioned two. I’d never heard of them causing that many deaths. I objected strenuously to your mentioning them, and I saw it as evidence of still one more person trashing us for going after Hussein.
I posted that, “...you should go peddle your crap elsewhere.” I didn’t mean for you to literally do it, but then that is what I said.
I am sorry I reacted that way, and told you something that is not my case to make. I was wrong to say that to you, and I would like to apologize, and hopefully have you accept it.
You have been contributing to discussions on religion and other topics, and I would hate to think I had influenced you to leave here.
Hope to see you on the forum soon.
The thing is - I’m not disputing with you that Saddam was a horrible monster, I’m not disputing with you that he killed many of his own people and many others.
What I am stating is that
1. his monstrosity isn’t the reason he was taken down; in my opinion neither was it his taking over another oil state. It was the Saudi influence which led to it
2. that his rule, evil as it was, was still better for:
a. the USA
b. the Christians in that region
c. the non-Muslim world
