Did the Iranians shoot this plane down thinking it was American??!

It was caught selling strategic cruise missiles to China and Iran under Yuschenko presidency. The ‘pro-American’ president approved the shipment himself and then lied about it and intermediaries all died in ‘unrelated’ car crashes. They are suspected of selling ICBM technology to North Korea under Poroshenko although there are only circumstantial evidence to it.
They generally tend to do business with rogue entities everyone else tries to avoid.

Sorry about the dead but, Why is Ukraine operating an airline out of Iran? Don’t we have sanctions against Iran? Wasn’t Ukraine just at our door with their hands out? “The agency warned of the “potential for miscalculation or mis-identification" for civilian aircraft amid heightened tensions between the U.S. and Iran.”

In the very area this occurred.
