On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Chris Wallace the anchor of “Fox News Sunday,” pointed out both former presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama did not order Quds Force Supreme Commander Qasem Soleimani be killed in an airstrike when they had the opportunity to do so.
Wallace said, “Both President Obama and President Bush had the options at several points to take out Soleimani, and they decided as much as they hated him, not to do that because they were worried how the Iranians would respond to that. That is the concern. They talked about harsh retaliation, what form will not take? Will there be military strikes? Will there be terror attacks? Iran has a very sophisticated cyber capability. Could they be cyber attacks on the U.S. homeland? If this is the kind of strike that finally gets Tehran’s attention and they pulled back, that’s a great message for the U.S. On the other hand, if they simply escalate and respond to our escalation with another one of their own, people will have to decide how far we want to take this.”

well since appeasement didn’t stop the terror attacks, the option changed..insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly expecting different results..so to get different results a different plan had to be used..mike wallace wake the f up.

The lesson the rats learned in 18 was in 16 they didn’t cheat enough. Trump will need a lot of cushion to beat it. It looks pretty good right now but I wish they had gone after the cheating a lot more.
You never ever want to make a terrorist regime mad! Why they could send planes into buildings or suicide bombers to blow up people and things. Best thing is to let them alone so that they can fly planes not buildings and send suicide bombers over to blowup people and things.

I’ll agree that they were overly confident in ‘16 - but that was even BEFORE Trump’s first term. They are going to have a HUGE row to hoe, with all of the intervening ‘winning’ that we’ve experienced.
They’re looking pretty stupid wrt the impeachment thing; the economy has been booming; Black people are getting a clue; and there is a general sense that we’ve got somebody in charge who absolutely knows his own mind and is fearless about taking a decided STAND on issues.
There’s a feeling of *decisiveness* in the air that we’d been without for many years, and the perception of it is almost a psychic thing that trickles down and spreads around.
I’m pretty confident; and I think we’ve begun this new 2020 election year very well :-)
