Angry Pope Francis lashes out as worshipper grabs his arm during Nativity scene visit

Pope Francis has lashed out at a worshipper in an attempt to free his arm from her grip during a visit to a Nativity scene in St Peter's Square.

He delighted tourists on New Year's Eve when he took a stroll through the Square, but he was taken by surprise as he was dragged back by a woman eager to hold his hand.

Francis exclaimed and then struck the woman's hand twice to free himself.

Hard to believe he’s in his final year as pope.

Referring to a worshipper withh vulgarity is demonic. Thhe Pope is visibly possessed by demonic forces. The Vatican requires exorcism.

Well.....The pope was likely very startled and frightened. Where was his security? They certainly failed.

Amazing how many guys here want to slug a small Chinese woman, seemingly in anguish, who dared to clutch the hand of a Pope! The Pope is a big man (he could use a diet, frankly) who certainly wasn’t going to be overcome by a small woman. He reacted like the guttersnipe we’ve all suspected he is privately.

I’m with you MM. The really scary part was the anger on his face. He could have paused and instead of slapping her hands he could have held them and shown kindness. I believe that is what Christ would have seen, a woman needing love.

You actually see the security guy behind him do that! And, yes, it is the vile expression on his face that lets us see “the skull beneath the skin.” What a wretch!

Although dressed in black, the woman was the equivalent of American Code Pinkos who will do anything to make a political point. Her point was made verbally while refusing to release the Pope’s arm

Oh come on people he was walking away and didn’t let go and yanked him back.

My first thought when I saw this was when she jerked him, it hurt his back. It would mine.

This Pope represents worldly flesh and blood not the kingdom of God.

But then I’m not Catholic so why should I even comment?

John Paul II wouldn’t have behaved like that.
But then again, he wasn’t a communist, acted like he believed what he read, and visited the guy who shot him.
Pope Francine, I don’t see him doing anything close.
