In a stunning takedown of MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple wrote Thursday that the liberal cable news star rooted for British ex-spy Christopher Steeles dossier, which served as the basis for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Trump campaign official Carter Page, to be the smoking gun that would force the president out of office.
In an op-ed titled, Rachel Maddow rooted for the Steele dossier to be true. Then it fell apart, Wemple wrote, She seemed to be rooting for the document. He added, As part of her Russianist phase, Maddow became a clearinghouse for news increments regarding the dossier.
Wemples piece was part of a serialized post-mortem on the medias handling of the Steele dossier, since thoroughly debunked by Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.
....
When small bits of news arose in favor of the dossier, the franchise MSNBC host pumped air into them, Wemple wrote in Thursdays op-ed. At least some of her many fans surely came away from her broadcasts thinking the dossier was a serious piece of investigative research, not the flimflam, quick-twitch game of telephone outlined in the Horowitz report.
Wemple continued, When large bits of news arose against the dossier, Maddow found other topics more compelling. He added, She was there for the bunkings, absent for the debunkings a pattern of misleading and dishonest asymmetry.

Yawn.
Echoes. All echoes.
Noting new.
And now they’re getting ready to sentence Gen Flynn - when all the evidence to exonerate him and charge other has been repeated again and again.
Not ONE of the criminals have even yet been charged.
Forgive me, but just which century is someone going to stop this! Do we have yet more gatekeepers for the swamp creatures?
Why is Wray still in his job, for starters.
All this is given ‘comfort’ to our enemies - like little Kimmy. All this makes our POTUS look week - takes his bargaining power out of the mix. Isn’t that obstruction?
...a leak in the dyke...
She should be crying because she believes her own kayfabe.
Intellectual? Being an angry Jewish lesbian doesn’t make one an intellectual, despite what you may have heard.
Shocker Wash/Po published this.
WaPo dude trying to make a crack in the dyke, eh?

Thanks!

3) Four to Six Months.
4) some later decade in this century.
The piece was written by the WaPos media critic. Thats what they do.
You should make a split screen window video of that showing someone taking a sh!t on the street and shooting up in San Fran on the there side of her when she says that.
There was an article which had a picture of Maddow before she ‘discovered’ that she was bi. She actually was a hot blond, if you can believe it.
2016 election night?
“Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple ... slams Rachel Maddow, says liberal host ‘rooted’ for Steele dossier”
This guy may want to wear glasses with attached mirrors in order to watch his back.
“a pattern of misleading and dishonest asymmetry”
thats a real long way to go to avoid saying that...
SHE LIED!
Tucker regularly ridicules Wemple as a reporter. My question is are we seeing the beginning of pointing at each other by reporters and media outlets for who was the worst cheerleader for the perps in Crossfire Hurricane—in order to clean their own skirts.
If the WaPo would just start reporting the truth, they would turn their business around.
