Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski told a local television affiliate that she's "disturbed" by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's plans to use "total coordination" with the White House to set out President Trump's impeachment trial. Murkowski, who remains a wild card in a potential Senate trial, has been tight-lipped on the effort. However, she shared her concerns with McConnell's recent comments in an interview with KTUU in Anchorage, Alaska.

The senate sets the rules.
The Senate has chosen to use the rules used for Bill Clinton’s impeachment.
That means that Senate Republicans are going to make up both the prosecution team and the defense team, and although Roberts will preside he will do so under the rules set by the Senate.
So the Senate could run the clock for days listing actual prosecutable crimes in the part of members of the house and bureaucracy which might have inspired false charges and Roberts doesn’t get to make his own objections - he can just sustain objections. If objections are never made this litany could carry up to October.
Nothing to stop that except never delivering articles of impeachment.
I’m not sure if she is “disturbed” or just “clueless”. What she should find disturbing is that the liberal democrats are on a mission to shutdown Alaskan energy production and drive her state into insolvency. Are there any adults left in Alaska that understand this?
The Constitution is silent about "delivering the artilces of impeachment".
The Leader can do whatever he darned well pleases, unless the Squishy Bunch backstabs him.

Certainly, Alaska can do better. When is she due to be replaced?

McConnell isn’t the Judge, He’s the guy CHARGED WITH making sure DUE PROCESS is followed and making sure Trump knows that process - is all good and proper.
Delivering the articles of impeachment is part of the house rules.
If they do not do that then Trump was never impeached.
On the other hand you are right that the Senate doesn’t have to play these games of course. They may chose to dismiss with prejudice on the basis of not finding an actual crime in the charges and forbid them from attempting to
deliver an impeachment to the Senate again for two years.
Lisa, is impeachment and removal a criminal process, in which case ‘coordination’ would be improper if there was actually a crime, or is impeachment and removal a purely political process in which there need be no crime and nothing improper about ‘coordination? You can’t have it both ways, Lisa.

Diane Feinstein letting Lisa Murkowski know who's boss around here.
Look at the body language and facial expressions: Feinstein is alpha, in a threatening posture, glowering at Murkowski. Murcowski is defensive, almost cowering, and looks like she is making some sort of excuse or another to her superior.
This is the lead story everywhere. Stupid liberal women are the downfall of this country.
Watching national news just now and her disturbed ugly face is all over MSM news. The look in her eyes indicated she is disturbed in several ways. I bet Fienstine has her under control as she has in the past.
