President Donald Trump continued his campaign against windmills on Saturday, issuing one of the most detailed takedowns to date of one of the environmentalists favorite forms of energy.
In a speech to Turning Point USA activists in Palm Beach Florida, the president mocked the idea of a windmill-driven economy proposed by Democrats promoting the Green New Deal in Congress and on the presidential campaign trail.

Yeah, ten years seems doable. NOT! Consequences if not met? No clue. We stumbled on some 5 or 6 windmills in the middle of NFW Nevada and it made my hackles raise. Disgusting awful obstruction in our "view shed".
Windmills are a complete and total scam. Nuclear power is the way to go for cheap, dependable energy. Of course, THAT is way to scary for the commies.
Windmills cause the deaths of more birds than anything else. Imagine being a bird and flying into one of those things, but commies love them yet they kill birds, gee I thought commies care about birds..maybe Democrat voting birds
Don’t forget the House sized concrete and steel thing under ground that holds it up
The West is trying to kill itself.
German got rid of 1/2! its nuclear capacity in the last 7 years and is shooting for 0%. What’s the result? They have to buy all their power from Russia.
How stupid can you get?
Yeah, when we got high winds at Kennedy Space Center around the VAB (Vertical Assembly Building) there would be hundreds of sparrows on the ground after the winds calmed back down. So the turbulence created by the slicer/dicer wind mills has got to be enormous.
Thought Nevada received a large percentage of its electricity from the Hoover Dam.
Purty stoopid a parent lee.
Driving to California there used to be beautiful rolling hills. Now all you see are giant white windmills and this weird sound that you feel instead of hear.
Ouch!
Gonna be a lot of crushed Leftists when they study up and realize he’s right.
The disgusting farm outside Palmdale for one.
“Of course, THAT is way to scary for the commies.”
Nuclear power doesn’t support the goal of driving us back to the Dark Ages, so won’t do at all.
The reason the Dutch used windmills was because they were
low speed high torque to turn the mill stones.
I figure eventually they will put them in the deep ocean
currents until they finally discover that it’s altering
the climate even there. Maybe by then we’ll have fusion
power in 20 or 30 years.
Of course it’s kind of ironic that we use nuclear fission
to run a steam turbine produce electricity just like a hundred years ago
That would involve facts, and nuzzlin’ joe has declared facts a no go zone. Truth only from now on. Hey, how about a NO JOE zone to keep women and children a safe distance from him?
Feral cats form colonies around windmills. There is a steady food supply falling from the sky.
Love President Trump, speaks the truth!
Noisy, unsightly, bird-killing, and prone to throwing huge shards of metal when they self-destruct.
Warms the cockles of my little heart when I see the pic of the one bursting in to flames.
There are two windmills in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, almost a century-and-half old (still in use). They were used to pump groundwater throughout the park. Dutch design. So not just for grinding, but also pumping water.
These don't kill birds!
They don’t last long (some self-destruct quickly). Lots of problems with blade edges wearing out and creating imbalances and moisture damage. And not recyclable, are dumped in landfills.
