The lawyer for House Judiciary Committee Democrats revealed in a Monday court filing that there is a possibility lawmakers could pursue even more articles of impeachment against President Trump -- despite having already adopted two of them last week following a grueling, historic and bitterly partisan debate.
The prospect of additional articles -- while perhaps unlikely -- was floated as part of a court battle over Democrats' bid to compel testimony from former White House Counsel Don McGahn.
Shortly before a 4 p.m. deadline imposed by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, the committee counsel filed a brief making their case for why they still want to hear from McGahn, despite having already voted for impeachment.
Democrats originally sought McGahn's testimony in connection with his claims to then-Special Counsel Robert Muellers team that Trump wanted him to have Mueller fired. Trumps critics claimed this request constituted obstruction of justice.

These people are deranged by their utter hatred.
Wanna talk about "ABUSE OF POWER"; not to mention that they're nuts and counting on holding the House...which they are NOT going to do.
Thankfully, more and more Americans are seeing through all this crap. It’s the reason you’re starting to see some elected Democrats questioning the need for impeachment. They know this is all BS that is about to explode in their faces.
Well if you can’t defeat him at the ballot box, what other choice the Rats have except keep impeaching until election day?
Another day, another impeachment. What is this hate about Trump?
So they’re admitting that Trump hasn’t actually been impeached yet, since they have to come up with more charges?
I’ll bet they’ve got tape of Trump wishing someone “Merry Christmas” and they’ll go after him for establishing religion.
Trump is Guilty of Obstruction of Injustice.
Its the gift that keeps on giving!
Grand children of Dr. Spock.
The product of participation awards.
Democrats seem determined to have single party rule....and that party would be Republican.
They really are suicidal.
Was this the lawyer that both interviewed people and then testified at the hearings?
So the dems are considering impeaching Trump for thinking about, or possibly talking about, firing Mueller. (which he has every legal right to) Of which Trump did NOT fire Mueller, so how can this be obstruction? I guess republican thoughts are crimes now.... Minority Report coming true.
They might as well do their worst at this point.
How can they charge him with obstruction of an investigation that was proven to be illegal???
“Your Honor, if you just let the Democrats used the FIB, CIA and NSA to monitor the Trump family and business associates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we may come up with more articles to investigate!”
Doubtful. They won’t even send over the two articles they have now.
IIRC, McGahn was the WH lawyer who dissuaded DJT from firing one of the Coup de taters....Comey or Mueller. I believe he left his position because he wouldn’t follow DJT’s orders citing pubic perceptions. (He may have been correct at that point in time)
Ds tried to equate this to the Nixon Saturday Night Massacre’s firing of the AG.(Rehnquist ?)
If my memory is correct, there is no equating the 2. Nixon was on the ropes with little R support, supposedly obstructed justice with his attempts at a cover-up of the Plumbers illegal snooping, breaking and entering at the Watergate . (of which Nixon had no knowledge).
Whereas, DJT has nothing to coverup and yuuuuge public support. Both Nixon and Trump can fire an AG for any damn reason they please. Clarification and correction are welcomed if my recall is faulty.
We need to have a KIO effort in this nation.
Burry them with 60 million plus notes telling them to Knock It Off!
