I can just see the Democrat exploding heads, if non-citizen information causes huge redistricting changes in blue states.

California, Texas, New Mexico have enclaves of red districts that have heavy illegal immigrant populations. To see those areas loose House seats would be fitting justice.

Go Trump, drain the swamp.

Now we know that the bigger game here is not that many of these illegals will vote in the elections. The even bigger game is to give the communist communities where they live more representation after the census. This is even more damaging than the illegal voting.

“Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers

Senor Resident Ilicito must be counted, but he doesn’t factor into apportionment.

We will have maybe 370 million residents and about 340 million citizens. Apportionment will be based on those 340 million citizens(excluding DC residents).

Federal funding will generally be based on the 370 million residents, as Congress (and the President) get to decide.

Estimado Senor Resident Ilicito:

We are not able to verify US citizenship in your case. A copy of your census form is attached. Please ensure any error with respect to US citizenship in your case gets corrected.

Not sure if the Constitution wanted districts determined by citizens, but I think it did.
If so, then this info is needed.

Mu impression is that the Department considered impact on the Party of considering citizenship. I do not think such a consideration rules out the collection of the info.
Party preference is not inherently a racial qualification.

Not doing so is disadvantageous to USA citizens. It undermines and dilutes our votes in the what is supposed to be our representative government-spit.
