Attorney General Mark Herring released a statement after resolutions were passed by localities across Virginia declaring themselves exempt from new gun safety laws that the General Assembly may enact.
He said localities and local constitutional officers “cannot nullify state laws” and must follow gun violence prevention measures passed by the General Assembly.

If they deserve it, then I say put them to it. But legally. By the rule of law. If we become lawless we become like them and the Republic is over.
And this joker is more powerful than the Second Amendment.
Regardless of what is said, the fight is coming. They are instigating it and our choice will be to surrender our guns or empty them.
Mr. Attorney General has made his declaration.
Now, let him enforce it.
Fraudulently documented foreigners do not obey laws, why should citizens?
Then why does they think they can pass legislation that nullifies the Constitution and Bill of Rights?
Possible scenario:
Mark Herring tells County Sheriffs to go collect all illegal weapons...
County Sheriffs say:
O.K. but first we need for you to provide us with
...a list of everyone who you want us to go visit,
...along with their addresses
...and the serial numbers of the weapons in question.
Then, we will send a certified/registered/return-receipt-requested letter
to all of the people on your list in order to confirm that
the address is valid and that they are indeed in possession of those weapons.
We will give them 30 days to respond.
For those who respond in the affirmative, we will send them a second
certified/registered/return-receipt-requested letter
asking them to make an appointment with our office,
so that we can meet to confirm the information.
We will give them an additional 30 days to respond to that letter.
But before we start, we will need money for postage.
