Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he will follow direction from President Trump’s lawyers during an impeachment trial.
“Everything I do during this, I’m coordinating with White House counsel,” McConnell told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday. “We’ll be working through this process, hopefully in a short period of time, in total coordination with the White House counsel’s office.”
“I’m going to take my cues from the president’s lawyers,” the Kentucky Republican added.

I replaced Abby Grace with Alexandra Chalupa in this version of the master face chart. Grace and Misko both went from the White House NSC to work for Schiff, but I think Chalupa brings another dimension to the coup plot. Saw this interview, Mitch did good.
I don't know how long it will take, and the impeachment trial is not the only venue available for exposing what the deep state did and is doing against the US electorate.
One line of material that needs to or ought to come out in the impeachment trial is genesis of the whistleblower, breaking of law, literally breaking of law by IC IG Atkinson (he has a DOJ/OLC opinion written personally for him. This is controlling law for executive department, and Atkinson flouted it).
Another line is Biden corruption, or least the reason to suspect it might exist. This includes witnesses from Ukraine government, SloJo's brag about getting prosecutor fired, etc. Even if there was reason to get rid of the prosecutor, there was also reason to consider maybe Burisma and Biden had a corrupt thing going.
Another line is DNC and Ukraine meddling in 2016, as you point out. This too is a justified point of inquiry by Trump.
And then in conclusion, hammer home that the DEMs were opposed to both of those lines of inquiry. Opposed to the extent that they chose to attempt to remove the president from office --- for doing the work of the American people.
I think all that can come out in two weeks. There might be a need for depositions and such, as was done in the Clinton trial. The senate can hear the arguments, suspend the trial for a couple weeks to gather evidence, then come back and present evidence.
There needs to be a full trial on the accusation. The House screwed the pooch on gathering facts, and came in with a one-sided public accusation. The defense is entitled to fully and publicly express its defense.
A full senate trial exposing it all = President Trump win
A short trial without exposing it all leading to quick acquittal = President Trump win...
Then Durham exposes anything and everything and prosecutes = President Trump win

Nadler postponed the vote last night, just to have that vote occur when people are awake and watching C-SPAN, CNN, MSNBC, and so on. Anything that advances impeachment is big news. The DEMs think this baseless and unwarranted impeachment is good for them, and they want to shout it from the mountaintops.
I said satisfaction. Satisfaction and reckoning are basically the same thing. I want their noses rubbed in it real hard and for them to be utterly humiliated.
I saw the interview with Hannity. Very annoying. Hannity asked if McC thought the President did anything wrong.
“Do you see any evidence of any wrongdoing on the President’s part...?”
McC just stuck to his talking points. “This is a really weak case and that’s why you’re going to see bipartisan opposition.”
The entire interview was McConnell parroting that and “I’m gonna work with the President’s counsel.”
And by the way, I’d like you all to buy my memoirs with a new foreward by President Trump...
