On Thursdays broadcast of the Fox News Channels Hannity, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said that he wouldnt be surprised if one or two Democrats voted against convicting President Trump in the Senate.
McConnell said, My hope is that there wont be a single Republican who votes for either of these articles of impeachment. And Sean, it wouldnt surprise me if we got one or two Democrats. It looks to me over in the House, the Republicans seem to be solid and the Democrats seem to be divided.

Why is cocaine mitch so surprised about everything lately?
Wouldnt surprise me if Romney voted for impeachment.
Hes sending the House a signal as well as Trumps supporters.
Mitch talks like he’s in the mafia. What’s next? “did you do dat ting”?
Another Freeper thread casting negatives on the good guys.

Did you talk to da guy?
DC is a mafia. That’s why Giuliani was brought in.

It’s a given that Joe Manchin will vote against it if he still wants a political career in West Virginia
Interesting that Nadler adjourned things abruptly last night and with no explanation, just minutes before reaching the summit.
And crickets this morning.
I sense something is up. I don’t think the Dems have the votes (or perhaps only have 1-2 votes at this point to spare); and I think there is talk among the Dems as to whether it make sense to bring this to a vote.
Just a hunch.
I thought the committee resumes at 10am where they will vote.
Watch Jones. If his interanals show he has a chance of re-election the rats will lose him because he knows if he votes to convict he’s dead. Sinema from AZ is awaiting instructions from the mother ship so who knows.
BUSTOS will be gone if she votes yes. She has a formidable GOP candidate in her district.
Nadler pulled that move because he wanted live TV and a full day of MSM talking about the vote.
On the other hand... I'm sure the Britain election results have to be weighing heavily on a few minds.
There are two outcomes from this:
1) It gets defeated. Pelosi is completely humiliated, communist rank and file are demoralized and the political ramifications are up in the air.
2) It narrowly passes. Communist rank and file are jubilant, but deplorables are energized. It possibly finishes off Democrats’ chances at the WH in 2020 and possibly costs them the House.
I think there’s enough political uncertainty about either option that Pelosi whips as many votes as she needs. Also, she has a history of flushing away her majority by making vulnerable Democrats cast stupid votes.
Sinema has been censured by the state Democrat party. A lot of us are watching her. She has said she is independent. She now has a chance to prove it.
Would not surprise me either.
I posted on another thread that the Democrats are about to step off a cliff. They still have time to stop this. All they need is a couple of Democrats on the committee who are in safe districts to vote no. If they don’t the Democrat party may not survive.
I didn’t know that. Why did the other rats censure her? They may regret it now. But 90% of the rats are either dumb or evil or both. They are incapable of shame so they may not know the meaning of regret.
I predict censure and this ends today.
