Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill say local police who do not enforce gun control measures likely to pass in Virginia should face prosecution and even threats of the National Guard.
After November's Virginia Legislature elections that led to Democrats taking control of both chambers, the gun control legislation proposed by some Democrats moved forward, including universal background checks, an assault weapons ban, and a red flag law.
Legal firearm owners in the state, however, joined with their sheriffs to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties, which declare the authorities in these municipalities uphold the Second Amendment in the face of any gun control measure passed by Richmond.

Same here. Assuming these bills (not only anti-2A, but a host of other communist-flavored crap as well) come to pass, I'll be out of here as soon as my wife retires in mid-2021.
yeah, but she is still dangerous.
How about prosecuting the ones who refuse to enforce immigration laws?

My thoughts exactly!
The day is upon us where you can have all the patriots you can find voting but it wont be worth a damn, because we are being replaced in our own country by legal and illegal immigration. These Fake Americans are for socialism and gun control. They are outvoting was the heritage Americans by their sheer numbers. This is how VA flipped from red to blue.
nationalize
Ah, got it. Thx for correcting.
Like-minded, conservative, lightly populated counties... what's not to like?
I feel a Concord, Mass 1775 moment building in the Commonwealth of Venezuela
In pre War Germany, local Police Chiefs who fail to round up Jews should be prosecuted because the Law is the Law.
The Law is the Law. Correct. But the Law must be made in accordance with the Supreme law of the Land which explicitly states, “the Right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”.
Ergo... This gun ban is itself illegal and anyone trying to enforce it is a felon for violating USC Title 18 Sections 241 and 242. Attempting to enforce such an illegal “law” is therefore also illegal and it is a positive defense, even under Virginia law, to use force to repel such a felonious attempt.
Gun grabbers, do you want a war? Because we can give you a war...
American freedom fighter in VA should stock up on rope.
“The Law is the Law” unless its unconstitutional.
Yep; this is exactly why we have the 2nd Amendment. To put down government overreach and corruption. ‘Democrat’ is now synonymous with ‘corrupt’.
Lots of big talk on this thread.
Instead of talking, do some more reading. Start with the three books by Matt Bracken.
Then think about how those books in the context of today’s current events. It’s sobering.
Then consider that the state of intelligence gathering in the US is highly sophisticated - when it wants to be. Meaning that people shoot their mouths off on the Internet and think their postings are protected by a degree of anonymity. Okay...
I’m hopeful in real-life that people are a little more discreet about who they talk with. I’ve always found that 2-3 person teams (along with you) whom you absolutely trust can be a very effective and cohesive unit at work, etc. Any more than that and you often end up with people who like to blab rather than work, solve problems, etc.
The line is being drawn in Virginia. The turn out to support 2nd was massive the other night.
This is the face of CW11. Its going to take place in the individual states not the general population going up against the feds. VA may well kick it off and if they try this nonsense in GA same deal.
To hell with hanging Ventilate them with lead
Travis, if they can, the Left will go full Stalin/Hitler on our asses.
People such as Brennan would head their Gestapo.
