U.S. attorney John Durham issues a response to the DOJ IG report, saying his office does "not agree with some of the reports conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.
Public safety
I suggest you go and listen to the Media’s narrative.
It means that there is a good chance that indictments are coming.
And they also lied that they were ‘protecting’ the president-elect from being blackmailed or some such nonsense. I think it was Comey who came up with that bs.
My reply was to #116 not 117.
Your point?
ICBW, but the only thing scheduled to happen on Wednesday is Horowitz's appearance before Graham and his committee. Not sure if it will be "closed door" or open.
First...Durham is known for having an extremely tight ship...no statements...no clues
Second .. with this statement...”last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions” ... he publically cut the legs out from under Horowitz. The words “last month” tells the world that Horowitz is lying. The fact that he put out a 600 page false narrative, just shows everybody that he is on the take.
The MSM is going to have a very hard time with this. Go ahead and see if Brennan and Clapper are on cable tonight ... I think not...they will be huddling with a very expensive team of lawyers.
Remember when President Trump said that he “got them all”
How many times has President Trump made a bold statement that the MSM made fun of?
How many times has he been proven wrong? ZERO!
People are going to be indited ... and people are going to roll over if they haven’t already ... and people will go to jail.
Brennan, Clapper, etc...they know it now!
Not to you, my mistake.
The IG report states that the FBI investigation was triggered by information received from a "friendly" foreign ally, and the FBI was justified in relying on the information:
As we describe in Chapter Three, the FBI opened Crossfire Hurricane on July 31, 2016, just days after its receipt of information from a Friendly Foreign Government (FFG) reporting that, in May 2016, during a meeting with the FFG, then Trump campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos "suggested the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia that it could assist this process with the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Mrs. Clinton (and President Obama)." The FBI Electronic Communication (EC) opening the Crossfire Hurricane investigation stated that, based on the FFG information, "this investigation is being opened to determine whether individual(s) associated with the Trump campaign are witting of and/or coordinating activities with the Government of Russia." We did not find information in FBI or Department ECs, emails, or other documents, or through witness testimony, indicating that any information other than the FFG information was relied upon to predicate the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
Barr and Durham have been investigating that friendly (as in "friendly to Hillary") foreign source and they have probably found that the information given to the FBI was effectively produced and delivered to them by another part of the US government (likely the CIA).
“The biggest problem may be judges in and around DC”
Durham is out of Conn. Not great but a lot better than DC.
Thank you!
He did that last month... that’s why the Dems went crazy and pulled out another hinge pin
Mifsud and the Italy trips.
Folks, are we there yet?
Good grief... the criminal acts of these gangsters have been at it bigly since 1993... I’m not 26 yrs old anymore, now I’m 52.

What the heck is Durham doing? Federal prosecutors arent supposed to make public statements in the middle of an ongoing investigation.
Ala: Comey
You think, FRiend. An opinion, as lots have them. Per the famous phrase about sphincters. Every one has one, even those who know very little, and the one’s actuating the results.
Quite a ray of sunshine— might want to have that checked out. Facts are sticky commodities. Pearl Harbor Day was Saturday.
Pumping facts, FRiend. Not speculation. Dog in the hunt and all.
No, it essentially complements Horowitz conclusions.
Attorney General Barr: “The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken.”
And?
Then?
sreKcuF!
Suddenly I am sleepy...
