Jerry Nadler claims Democrats have a 'rock solid' case for Donald Trump's impeachment as the Judiciary chairman insists a jury would convict the president in 'three minutes flat'
Jerry Nadler said Democrats have a 'rock solid' case for impeachment
'I think the case we have, if presented to a jury, would be a guilty verdict in about three minutes flat,' the Judiciary chairman said
His comments came a few days after Nancy Pelosi directed committee chairmen to begin drafting articles of impeachment against the president
He wouldn't say if the House would vote on impeachment this week
Jerry Nadler asserted Sunday that Democrats in the House have a 'rock solid' case to impeach Donald Trump.
'We have a very rock solid case,' the House Judiciary Committee chairman said on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning.
'I think the case we have, if presented to a jury, would be a guilty verdict in about three minutes flat,' he added.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday instructed House committee chairmen to begin drafting articles of impeachment against the president. Her announcement came a day after the first Judiciary hearing, where a team of three Democratic-called attorneys testified that Trump committed impeachable offenses.
Even if the House does vote to recommend impeachment, the matter will more than likely be knocked down in the Republican-controlled Senate where the case would move next.
Republicans argue that there is not enough direct evidence to prove Trump engaged in a quid pro quo with his Ukrainian counterpart. The GOP, instead, claims that all the allegations are based on hearsay from second- or third-hand accounts.
'There is considerable direct evidence,' Nadler asserted to CNN host Dana Bash.

Looks like that dope needs a booster seat and a doctor.
There is a jury. It's called the Senate.
I don’t see HOW you can word it to make it a crime.
Maybe if Trump said “MAKE UP SH.T ON BIDEN IF YOU HAVE TO BUT I WANT A REPORT THAT HE DID SOMETHING WRONG OR NO MONEY FOR YOU!!”
And that didn’t happen.
And i don’t know if THAT would be a crime.
Theres too much use of personality hate Trump preferences as the excuse for quote, impeachment, unquote. Its a distraction from the real reason. What should be looked into and brought to public attention is the connection to the corruption used by the swamp creatures Trump would put a screeching halt to. And offered as the real reason why they are going after Trump.
‘There is considerable direct evidence,’ Nadler asserted
Such as...? Did he offer any? I didn’t hear any in the hearings.
Good thing there’s Constitutional reason that trial juries don’t go straight to deliberations after hearing only the prosecutions opening statement
I want someone to do a version of Alice in Wonderland starring these Dim hallucinating reps.
Jerry hasn’t been rock solid since he was 17.
The case against Bill Clinton was rock solid.
Braille.
Why have more hearings, then? Please provide Articles of Impeachment without further delay so that a formal impeachment vote can be conducted.
True and bent some.

Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.

I think Nutler means the rocks he has rattling around in his cranium which serve as his “brain”.
Who was it who said, You have to pass this bill to find out whats in it.? Oh, yes. It was Nancy Pelosi.
Diplomacy between nations is a constant game of quid pro quo, it is generally thought better to trade favors than bombs.
As this goes forward, REMEMBER: Our President was perfectly within his rights and within the scope of his office to offer money, weapons, a tour of teh White House, a night in the Lincoln bedroom (alone) or any other thing that was his to dispose of in order to get evidence of a crime under US law.
The assertion by Schiff and witnesses that the President was undermining, or acting against, US foreign policy is nonsense on its face unless their ACTUAL position is that they will do whatever is necessary to prevent the President from carrying out the basic functions of his office.
And if THAT is their position, OUR job is to get it out in front of the public.
