The Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee announced on Tuesday that it is moving forward with Democrats’ impeachment hearings and has scheduled hearings for next week.
Chairman Jerry Nadler sent a letter to the White House on Tuesday notifying the Trump administration that his committee had scheduled its first impeachment hearing for next Wednesday, December 4.
“The Committee intends this hearing to serve as an opportunity to discuss the historical and constitutional basis of impeachment, as well as the Framers’ intent and understanding of terms like ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,'” Nadler wrote. “We except to discuss the constitutional framework through which the House may analyze the evidence gathered in the present inquiry. We will also discuss whether your alleged actions warrant the House’s exercising its authority to adopt articles of impeachment.”
“The Committee looks forward to your participation in the impeachment inquiry as the Committee fulfills its constitutional duties,” Nadler continued. “While we invite you to this hearing, we remind you that if you continue to refuse to make witnesses and documents available to the committees of jurisdiction, under H. Res. 660, ‘the chair shall have the discretion to impose appropriate remedies.'”

Same rules as Schiff had. I just read the limitations and any minority winesses or documents are subject to Nadler’s approval, just as it was under Schiff. It’s more of the same.
This “chair” has no discretion.
And those are his redeeming qualities.
Now they are going to try to make a big deal that the Executive Branch isn’t letting them talk to folks and try to make THAT their issue...

GOP is going to handily take back the house, gain in the Senate an Trump is going to win 35+ states.... The electorate has seen what these people are doing.. and believe me, they are going to punish them severely.
However, as I said, from where I sit this impeachment was never about Trump, just trying to get Biden out of the primaries to get a left winger the nomination so they can be crushed, so that the Dems can moderate before the 2024 cycle when they actually might have some sort of prayer of winning.
I have seem this #seinfeldimpeachment as a rope a dope to knee cap the radical left wing of the democrat party since day one.
All about knee capping the far left of their party, being presented as anti-Trump... by giving them what they want....

If/when the Dems get control of both the Executive and Legislative branches they will move to make sure no conservative is ever elected to any level of public office again.
They are looking at the old Soviet-style elections where you had a choice to vote for one of two people who were both members of the Communist Party. Same outcome, just different names.
