We now have a preview of the way Michael Bloomberg plans to buy the Democrats' nomination and the presidency. A big part of his massive spending program will be focused on trashing President Donald Trump while touting himself as a self-made man. The budget for this ad alone is at a saturation level in targeted markets.
Advertising Analytics confirmed with The Hill on Saturday that Bloomberg's multimillion-dollar ad campaign would air in 98 local markets and on some national cable channels in the most expensive ad purchase from any candidate in one week of political advertising. The former mayor's ad filmed by Kantar/CMAG is expected to run through the holiday weekend until Dec. 2.
CMAG told ABC News that the candidate is spending at least $37 million in ad buys in states such as California, New York, Florida, Texas and Illinois, including $29.3 million in local broadcasts.
Watch for yourself:
There is some danger of overkill if Bloomberg commercials become ubiquitous. People could become angry or bored with him.
The ad tries to take credit for New York City's recovery from 9/11, when his predecessor, Mayor Giuliani, a close Trump aide, is solidly identified by the national public as the man who spurred that recovery. There is danger for Bloomberg in that sort of claim.
The ad also features pictures of Bloomberg with most of the identity groups to which Democrats pander.

Chump change. He’s not serious. :)
So is he running as a Republican?
“Give it to Mikey! Mikey will eat anything!”
I’m sure the media outlets will welcome his income.
Trump can respond with a tweet showing Bloomberg and a 32oz Big Gulp soda.
He can say Bloomberg is self-conscious about his height and he’s running because he wants to outlaw all soft drink cups that are taller than he is.
No commentary or verbage needed...Bloomberg is going nowhere. The Democrat Party roster of 2020 POTUS candidates is not worth a second of serious consideration, Judging by Massively Dying, TV Viewership of Democrat debates...not many Americans are impressed with this list of 100% losers!!! Go, Trump, Go, MEGA/MAGA!!!
Bloomberg is running as Nanny King. Bottom-feeding, power-hungry douche bag.
Since Bloomberg was mayor of NY (I don’t care how long ago), he’s using our tax money. How much did he steal from us?
When Trump ran, he was a private citizen. Will Bloomberg be raked over the coals as much as Trump was as a candidate?
The guy has no real appeal on speeches. Even Al Gore and John Kerry are better in the speech department. I would describe ‘Big Gulp’ as ‘wooden’.
That’s like the average Joe spending $10 to put an ad in the want ad column.
Pandering to the Brothers and the Poofters.
It feels like watching a Powerpoint slide deck to me. I’m obviously not the target market, but all I hear is a lot of yadda yadda yadda trying to touch all the Democrat hot buttons interspersed with still photos. Not compelling.
Little Michael could add a few zeros on to that amount and still not make a dent in Trump. I heard this turd this morning say “We can do better.” really lil Mikey?
Three of the five States targeted are deep blue.
I guess he is trying to prove that he really is a Democrat.
If he wins will he sell off all of his Businesses like the Rats keep insisting POTUS Trump does with his?
Shucks...I have a great idea...so many Democrats have jumped ship and are going to vote for POTUS, Donald J. Trump to be re-elected to POTUS...that they should also consider to make Trump a “Write-In” POTUS candidate in the upcoming Democrat Party Primaries in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina & all the remaining Democrat Party, primaries!!! Do it...folks!!!
He’s just re-circulating his money around the DNC/lib-demonkkkRATs’ media outlets.
This is just going to piss people off.
Nothing is more irritating than being bombarded with the same ad every 90 seconds.
So, when does he give a speech or stand for a debate?
Is he going to run for POTUS from the comfort of his own home?
Is it possible in the new media era to win this way?
These questions will be answered, conclusively.
