Billionaire Mike Bloomberg spending $31.5 million in one week to show this ad nationwide

We now have a preview of the way Michael Bloomberg plans to buy the Democrats' nomination and the presidency.  A big part of his massive spending program will be focused on trashing President Donald Trump while touting himself as a self-made man.  The budget for this ad alone is at a saturation level in targeted markets.

Advertising Analytics confirmed with The Hill on Saturday that Bloomberg's multimillion-dollar ad campaign would air in 98 local markets and on some national cable channels in the most expensive ad purchase from any candidate in one week of political advertising. The former mayor's ad filmed by Kantar/CMAG is expected to run through the holiday weekend until Dec. 2.

CMAG told ABC News that the candidate is spending at least $37 million in ad buys in states such as California, New York, Florida, Texas and Illinois, including $29.3 million in local broadcasts.

There is some danger of overkill if Bloomberg commercials become ubiquitous.  People could become angry or bored with him.

The ad tries to take credit for New York City's recovery from 9/11, when his predecessor, Mayor Giuliani, a close Trump aide, is solidly identified by the national public as the man who spurred that recovery.  There is danger for Bloomberg in that sort of claim.

The ad also features pictures of Bloomberg with most of the identity groups to which Democrats pander.

He does know that he has to win the DEM PRIMARY......does he?

Those ads will have to dislodge hardened support 2 months before the first primary from top-tier canidates.

The Hobbit-like Bloomberg is 77 years old, and will be 79 a month after the inauguration in 2021.

He is already fading fast mentally, wastes time trying to erase the 2nd Amendment, and promotes the propaganda of Climate Change.

He is a GIFT to Warren and Sanders. They need a Billionaire to run against. Bloomberg simply does not represent the Democrat Party where they are at right now.

Evidence of Bloomberg’s dementia:

“MARGARET HOOVER: The United States currently accounts for 15 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. China accounts for 30 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. How do we, even if we get to zero, how do you get India, China, and the other countries to be good partners.
MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: China is doing a lot. Yes, they’re still building a bunch of coal-fired power plants
HOOVER: And they’re still burning coal.
BLOOMBERG: Yes they are. But, they are now moving plants away from the cities. The Communist Party wants to stay in power in China and they listen to the public. When the public says ‘I can’t breathe the air,’ Xi Jinping is not a dictator. He has to satisfy his constituents, or he’s not going to survive.
HOOVER: He’s not a dictator?
BLOOMBERG: No, he has a constituency to answer to.
HOOVER: He doesn’t have a vote, he doesn’t have a democracy. He’s not held accountable by voters. Is the check on him just a revolution?
BLOOMBERG: You’re not going to have a revolution. No government survives without the will of the majority of its people. He has to deliver services. The Chinese Communist Party looks at Russia and they look for where the communist party is and they don’t find it anymore and they don’t want that to happen.”

He should be looking at assisted living arrangements and not running for President.

LOL! Might have been a true observation, but . . .

Thanks to DiBlasio, this clown actually looks like he was a competent mayor.

He’s a demonkkkRAT, masquerading as a GOPer; obvious to all with eyes.

Notice how they left out his mandating salt be removed from restaurant tables, and eliminated all 16oz soft drinks?

So Michael Boomborg is spending almost $40 million in preliminary ads in the coming few weeks.

It boggles the mind how many poverty-stricken elderly folks, the homeless, the sick, the malnourished, the crippled and the otherwise destitute or impaired fellow human beings in this country could be helped by this huge amount of money which is ultimately destined to go down the rabbit hole of memory.

All this creepy spending just to bolster the ego, self-centeredness, publicity-harvesting and power-seeking of an aging, insecure mogul evidently trying to prove something to himself.

I think it's sick to throw money away like that. I think his priorities are twisted. The priorities in his life seem to be himself, first and foremost.

But it's a free country...he can do with his money as he chooses, even waste millions on himself and his fellow leftists who seek to control us and to destroy our country.

Ultimately, his future will be judged by the voting public....and by the Almighty in the long run.

Ho hum. Same ole rhetoric Dems have been promising (spewing) for decades. Same ole issues -- healthcare for all (didn't Obama do that?), if you like your doctor ..., tax the rich, more 'projects' housing, yada yada yada.

Bloomberg has alienated so many Americans, he cannot possibly win. And he’s smart enough to realize it, too. So, this spending is all about something else. Is it entirely ego? Or does he have another agenda... maybe he’s planning to pitch his support to another candidate or?

Can you image him at the first debate, side by side with Trump towering over him ?

I guess Doomberg is bored with life, and has a few hundred million he doesn’t mind throwing away. This guy has no shot at the nomination, and will be no factor if he decides to go independent in the election.

Fun thought.

Trump at debate: "Mikie, I know we don't see eye to eye on your gun confiscation plan. In fact, you don't see eye to eye with just about anyone at your height."

Funny, the Governors of California, New York, and Illinois would like to make it illegal for a private citizen to even have that much money.

Mocking Bloomberg’s height will lose many votes of wavering short people and people who consider it bullying by a tall man. No one can choose his height. Please, President Trump, mock Bloomberg for his nanny state overreach, not his height.

FOAD bloomy. The only thing factual in that ad was his 3 terms as mayor of NYC which is NOT a net positive; it’s a huge negative to the rest of the country with the exception of the other shithole cities like SF.

Once someone retires they can safely spend 4% of their wealth ever year and not worry about running out of money. For Bloomberg that’s a $2 billion spend per year, $5 billion if he considers his advanced age. Since he’s talking about buying Democrat voters, he could easily buy this election, or buy every possible lottery number and win any lotto he wants to.

A decent commercial - but he uh, “took charge” after 9/11? I’m pretty sure Rudy was that guy. That’s a huge error. I’m surprised they included that language.

RE: A decent commercial - but he uh, “took charge” after 9/11?

Well, he did take charge after 9/11, not immediately after, but YEARS after. To his credit, he continued Giuliani’s tough on crime policies and made it even better.

Now, he’s walking back on his policy and even apologizing for it.
